Keep your head up young man. Keep your head up.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:36 PM ^
Great game by Ronnie. Will make it that much more sweet when he is the guy that delivers the dagger to OSU.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:36 PM ^
Right on. Ronnie, in the grand scheme of life, that moment means nothing. Keep your head up. You're going to have a great career
October 19th, 2019 at 11:38 PM ^
We had a hundred other chances to win (or not lose) this game. It's not on Bell.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:46 PM ^
I mean he did drop the game tying TD. I’m not sure how you spin this.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:51 PM ^
I’m sorry you’re not smart enough to figure that out.
you miss a putt on the 18 hole and blame it on that putt.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:56 PM ^
I always blame the 18th beer
October 20th, 2019 at 5:41 AM ^
it's not on Bell, true. too much is expected out of him. Tarik Black is more talented and has better hands. he should have been in then. Gattis needs to be let go.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:38 PM ^
If only I could upvote you 1000 times.
And Ronnie Bell, too.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:42 PM ^
Seriously. We’re not in this game if not for Bell, any way. Let’s not forget that (or let him forget that!)
October 19th, 2019 at 11:38 PM ^
I feel for the kid, I really do. He played a helluva game, but much like this team, they come up just short. They need to play like champions, not runners-up.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:38 PM ^
He’s been our best receiver all year. Tough one tonight, boys played hard. KJ was the difference maker we don’t have this year.
I’d take Ronnie on my team any day!
October 19th, 2019 at 11:38 PM ^

October 20th, 2019 at 12:03 AM ^
We have them, just choose not to play them. I bet you Giles and Sainristil could blow past the safeties too. Hell, Nico does it all the time and we rarely throw it to him.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:38 PM ^
It happens. Sometimes there are heroes, sometimes there are goats.
Just hard to swallow because we have been waiting so long for the big program defining win, and it was there for the taking.
The Harbaugh era has been defined by not making that one key play.
MSU punt 6 in 2015,
OSU 2016- Peppers allowing the runner to reverse field on him and run 12 yards to set up the 4th and 1 that led to JT was short, and the winning TD, instead of a FG,
PSU 2019 - Finally in a position for that program defining road win again, and drop the ball, literally.
Seems Jim, this program, is just cursed.
October 20th, 2019 at 12:21 AM ^
It comes from the head coach. Jim Harbaugh has never won a clutch game in his career.
Dude had Randy fucking Moss and didn’t throw it to him for the Super Bowl W. For that he will always be cursed along with Michigan.
October 20th, 2019 at 12:48 AM ^
The guy led an average 49ers team to the SB and almost won it. Surely he won an important game somewhere between the beginning of the season and the Super Bowl.
October 20th, 2019 at 11:19 AM ^
Yawn. He’s a good turn around guy. That’s it.
October 20th, 2019 at 12:58 AM ^
You always bring up randy moss. Dude was washed at that point in his career. You can do better.
October 20th, 2019 at 2:34 AM ^
Wow, you are right, we should have hired a coach who wins Super Bowls, not loses them. Hackett should have had a better vetting process.
October 20th, 2019 at 3:00 AM ^
App State over Michigan wasn't even the biggest upset of 2007 thanks to Jim Harbaugh. Dude has won big games his whole career
October 19th, 2019 at 11:39 PM ^
I appreciate that Bell is our most targeted receiver. We have 3 guys other than Bell who will play NFL football. It makes so much sense to use those guys as decoys and throw to Bell most of the time. Strategy bitch.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:49 PM ^
Stop. For the Love of God, stop! None of the UM receivers will play in the NFL. There is not one fucking scout looking at the overrated UM receivers. They can’t run, catch, or block. The NFL doesn’t want overrated WRs.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:39 PM ^
Can't fault him at all. If someone's feeling it as closely as that they deserve zero criticism. He obviously cares about it much more than any couch coach or armchair qb ever could. Proud of the effort tonight.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:52 PM ^
Well said. Anyone that has coached at any level can appreciate a guy like Bell: not the most talented but works his ass off to get better and cares about winning. Anyone that has a negative thing to say about him has issues.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:39 PM ^
Kid is having a hell of a year and if you tweet anything other than support to him I'd really appreciate it if you could take yourself out of the gene pool
October 19th, 2019 at 11:40 PM ^
We are never in that position if Bell doesn’t make an incredible move on 3rd and long the previous drive.
Even after that we had a chance to get the ball back and didn’t stop them.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:41 PM ^
Chin up.
and beat the Buckeyes, please.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:41 PM ^
Tough for that to be the last offensive play, Bell had clutch plays all game
October 19th, 2019 at 11:41 PM ^
He's been our best WR all year. Can't hate on someone for not being perfect. He's been damn good.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:41 PM ^
I agree, but I would expand it. He's had a great season.
Ronnie, all Michigan alumni are as heart-broken as you. We were all with you as you tried to bring the pass in. When you dropped it, we dropped it with you. But we'll be right by your side next week against Notre Dame and the rest of the season.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:51 PM ^
Totally agree. Lots of talk about Michigan’s 3 future NFL receivers. It really should be 4 future NFL receivers. He has been Michigan’s best WR this year. Use this to motivate you Ronnie. We love you.
October 20th, 2019 at 12:17 AM ^
Ronnie Bell will play in the NFL. It's pretty apparent at this point.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:41 PM ^
100%. Love him on this team. Feel absolutely terrible for him. Hope he gets another shot to make a huge play like that
October 19th, 2019 at 11:42 PM ^
Ronnie is great. Tough drop, but will make him stronger.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:42 PM ^
Thanks Mr Ronnie Bell. Stuff happens. It hurts. It’s not the end of the world. You’ll do better next time young man. GO BLUE, for LIFE!
October 19th, 2019 at 11:42 PM ^
Ronnie busted a tackle to make a big play earlier that made the last offensive play matter. He would be the first to say he should have caught the last pass. Tough one. Hope he learns from it and bounces back to play at the level he is capable of playing at.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:42 PM ^
He has been our best receiver this year. It's a tough break and I don't blame him for the loss. Loss is on the coaches for the slow start once again
October 19th, 2019 at 11:43 PM ^
Big players make big plays.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:47 PM ^
Kind of harsh, no? Kid gives a shit and bust his ass. He should have caught it but it’s not the only drop we had all night. Give the kid a break.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:45 PM ^
Yes .. he fought like hell to get an extra 20 yards and get us near the end zone on the previous drive. Keep your head up young man.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:47 PM ^
Honestly, Ronnie bell should be elevated to receiver #1 if he isn't already. He's been solid and was really good today besides that drop. Seems to be the only receiver regularly open. DPJ and Tarik are severely overrated imho
October 19th, 2019 at 11:48 PM ^
I didn’t think so before but black has been underwhelming. Tons of talent but don’t worry about him going pro.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:47 PM ^
Player of the Game on offense.
Wouldn't have even been in that position without him making prior key plays during the comeback.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:50 PM ^
For real, dude is legit!
October 19th, 2019 at 11:50 PM ^
For real, dude is legit!
October 19th, 2019 at 11:50 PM ^
Support, yes. Calling this team wasted talent, I'll take a hard pass. Their talent dropped 6 catchable passes.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:50 PM ^
Has to hurt but the loss is not on him. Should’ve had two TDs this game but alas. If he cleans up some mental errors he will be a star going forward in his career.
Fuck Penn State. Fuck happy valley at night.
Fuck the officiating. Fuck the ESPN homer narrative for every gameday they cover.
October 19th, 2019 at 11:50 PM ^
I’ll never shit in him for this. I sure as hell couldn't have made that catch. Shit happens, man. He made plenty of great plays otherwise.
Hope he gets the chance for redemption against OSU.
October 20th, 2019 at 12:00 AM ^
Can’t imagine you could.
But for real, the dude cuts into the field to get extra yards. Often I see the big three just go out of bounds. Might be me liking the bell though.
