GO BLUE
Do winners get 5* status or something?
I'm not sure there are winners per se, but I'm sure if you stand out at this event you'd have a good shot at a 5th star.
To the Jelly of the Month Club
that keeps on giving.
Edward
Please excuse my cousin-in-law; his heart is bigger than his brain.
Thanks Clark.
Also, Jourdan Lewis is in it.
Others of interest:
Fuller
Green
Mathis
McQuay
Treadwell
McDowell ('14)
I'm really excited to see how Chris Fox does. He was initially the OL I was most excited about, but he hasn't been as visible since his commitment as many of the other guys have. I hope to see him do well against some top DLs.
I read an article about Chris Fox on WolverineNation a month back or so. I too am excited for him. Even know we don't hear a lot about him, that article made me feel better about his commitment. He's solid as a rock.
First and only camp where he will line up against national talent. Also interested to see what he measures in at height/weight.
He may be the recruit we have heard the least about.
Lewis / McCray / Dawson putting the full court press on Treadwell. Treadwell hanging with those dudes.
Good. Treadwell is the last big piece of this class. I'm sure he's hearing it from lots of our guys.
Treadwell and Mathis may be enough to secure #1 overall class
Depends on which recruiting service you talk about. Since this is a Rivals thread, we would have to get those two guys and then have one or two continue to move up the rankings (e.g., Dawson / Taco). Sounds as if the RIvals mods are predicting a 3rd place finish for our class unless the last two guys are top-100 kids.
Mathis is 71, Treadwell is 39.....
Yes, of course... BUT:
1) Rankings are fluid. Kids could jump into the top 100 or out of it. Please remember a lot of our commits are guys they "were on early" in the process - thus will fall in the rankings as they review other "new" kids more closely.
2) Only the top 20 kids from each class matters.
3) The odds of landing two top 100 kids is not as good as you might think (even throwing McQuay, Fuller, and Green into the mix).
Yes but we also have these under the radar recent commitments. How can you not think our long snapper is going to be in the rivals top 100 when all is said and done? Have you seen his film!?!?!
I love how this message board now covers posts of "other prestiguous schools that offer long snappers".
"SEE! We are TRENDSETTERS! Seeeeeeee!"
If you had told me the recruiting class would wrap up the way it has, I would have taken you to the hospital to have you sedated. That being said, "I trust the coaches".
Will it be?
