Go Blue!

Forgive me for not understanding the vagaries of twitter 'burns', but I fail to see anything OSU related - let alone 'burn'-y...
I mean, its some random (and not clear at all they're) DJ Turner highlights. Is there a backstory I'm missing?

Turn up your volume and press play.

Thanks for the recommendation! I normally don't... but I did this time! Good Ole Rich.
Thanks for this! I keep the sound muted because I'm usually either at work or at home surfing while the family watches TV. Don't really want my 12 yr old getting exposed to some of the crap that comes out of the internet just yet. So I turned up the vol and, yeah, I get it!

Never go full retard…
The irony
Well if you play in Cincinnati, what’s the most important thing when you draft somebody? Somebody who knows how to win in the state of Ohio.
-Rich Eisen
To understand the vagaries of Twitter burns, it's important to remember that Twitter is a public platform where your words can reach a large audience very quickly. This means that any mistakes, misunderstandings, or offensive content can quickly spread and have serious consequences. It's important to be thoughtful and mindful of the impact of your words before you hit "tweet," and to be prepared to take responsibility and make amends if necessary. Additionally, it's important to recognize that Twitter can be a highly volatile and unpredictable environment, and that even innocuous tweets can sometimes spark unexpected and intense reactions. Developing a thick skin and maintaining a sense of perspective can be key to weathering the ups and downs of Twitter's often tempestuous landscape. Cincinnati is know to be an excellent area to plan your escape from Ohio.
This reads like it’s a chatgpt response until the last sentence.
Funny, that got me thinking. Now that Cincinnati is in the Big XII, and the region of Cincinnati is definitely not a bastion of OSU support, plus they have some really good players from there. I think Michigan and Cincinnati should do a home and home. OSU would hate us playing there. Maybe even do it every few years.
Nippert Stadium only holds 40K. They'd have to play at the Bengals Stadium, which I'd be okay with.

You’re probably right that that’s what would happen, but it would be a shame. Nippert is small but it is a great atmosphere. Just charge 1.5X what you’d charge at the sterile corporate stadium and play it on campus.

We did play at UConn once. And Northwestern is going to have less than 40K soon.
As someone who lives in Ohio I can emphatically say fuck Ohio
Best thing to do in Ohio………,leave
Win, then leave..

Savage, but true.

LOVE this!
We need to start planning for post Eisen, Howard, and Shefter, and need to think about placing alums in media, to keep it going.
Hold us, TomVH
As an OSU alum I say without sarcasm or hidden message enjoy it. You’ve earned the right to gloat. That’s what makes this rivalry great. Unlike people in their 20s I’m old enough to see the current state of the series as the norm. Now looking at both teams having the top 2 recruiting classes in the country so far I hope we are entering a period where both programs are at their peak. Harbaugh has smartly built his program stylistically as the anti-OSU so now the game each year comes down to whoever can impose their will on the other. Should be fun moving forward.

I agree. These are the games that I enjoy. The years of Cooper losing almost every game to Michigan and then Michigan losing almost every game for 18 years to OSU took some of the shine off. It's way more fun when both teams are good.
That being said, I'd still be ok with Michigan winning the next 10 games. Go Blue!
That's an owie.
