I don't particularly wish ill on him, but I don't mind seeing it happen. If he's hurt and Michigan players don't get to beat up on, just as well. After his "family values" comments and subsequent fights and hitting people after the play during Ohio State (we talkin' bout) practice, he doesn't deserve to be on the field. I hope he enjoys his future used car dealership.

Perhaps Boren injured himself spreading family values at Ohio State practices as positively discussed by Rittenberg earlier this year: 1) Knocking players down "after a play" to add intensity 2) "Screaming and cussing" at teammates to be a "good guy to have" 3) Using fights with teammates to "set the tone" http://myespn.go.com/blogs/bigten/0-3-261/Boren-brings-the-nasty-back-t…

Does anyone know if Brian still post at bucknuts? I had totally forgotten about that until I saw the bucknuts link from the OP, but just checked and it looks like he hasn't posted there in awhile. I thoroughly enjoyed the "michigan thoughts by a michigan fan but written for ohio state fans" perspective. Hiatus, or failed experiment?

Like everyone else I hate to see athletes get hurt b/c you never know how if affects their future, but I’m looking the other way on this one.

"Oh my God, he's a crazy dude," Gibson said. "It's good to have him over there because we're lining up and he's screaming and cussing and [stuff]. He's a good guy to have." Nothing like screaming and cussing and causing fights to back up those family values.

Alright, now you got me going. I hope he's healthy on November 21 when OSU comes to the Big House so we* can kick his fat donut ass all over the field. *When I say "We", I don't necessarily mean myself, but the likes of Brandon Graham, Mike Martin, William Campbell and others.

I'm certainly not happy to hear about it. I'm never happy to hear about a player getting hurt unless it's someone who's actively a real danger to other players (best example I can think of is fortunately-ex-NHLer Bryan Marchment.) Am I particularly sorry to hear it though? No, not really. Boren is dead to me.
