As much as I like Mike Martin, I don't think this improved my opinion of the song... I still haven't been able to bring myself to listen to more than about 40 seconds of it

Wow, that song is turrible.  I must be gettting old because here is this guy(dressed like an 80's rocker, is that still the style??) praising Michigan and all I can think is, "Uh...Yeah.  Thanks, but no thanks."  Not to mention the guy with half his head shaved and black finger nail polish making what a I guess is a "M" with his fingers. We aren't this hard up are we?

Now get those kids off my lawn!!

I know I'm not the only one rolling their eyes when they see another hype video post.  These things are cool if you're 12, but after that....

I doubt if these guys know the difference between a spread offense and a buffet spread. If DB allows one second of this to played on the Hokatron, it will make me glad I didn't get tickets this year.

There were a TON of clips I'd never seen before.  The song may not top the charts, but it has great energy, and I can't shit on another UM fan for getting excited about the team.

Tributes to my beloved Wolverines?  Moar please.

I went to high school with one of the members of this band. He drove a hearse to school. The fact he's involved in this song is hilarious to me as he was pretty anti-jock or anything sports-related.

This is at least supported by Mike Martin.  Just checkout Mike Martin's YouTube site and it's the latest posted video.  I guess Mike is getting started early on becoming a Renaissance Man in the mold of Dhani Jones.

I think of my self as a Michigan traditionalist (I do NOT want a foam mascot clown) but I really don't understand the angst this song is driving on this blog.  Even if this does get shown on the big screen's in the stadium, I think it could be a cool thing.  Should it replace what the band does? no.  Should it be played after every successful play instead of the band playing The Victors? Hell no!

But do I like playing this video on my computer and seeing the highlights of the players , you bet!

apparently the players like it too.  Kind of like those crazy one off uniforms.

Not sure why we have to complain about this.  Especially after last night when the vmas were on.  No, I did not watch one second of it.  I think "get off my lawn" is being over played on this site.  Its too bad that everyone who likes it is getting negged.

Did I miss something? Judging from some people's comments, it sounds like this was made as an "official" pump up video. I haven't seen anything to that effect, so I ask again; did I miss something?

These guys should team up with freakbass and make a supergroup.  Every ear with explode in the greater midwest area.

Much better than "Hang On Sloopy", or that Emo Indie crap "Sometimes when you're on, you really sound like a Cranberries cover band." This is a hype song. It's the typical stadium style rock music heard in most stadiums and arenas throughout the country. I really don't have a problem with it. Nobody is trying to make it the new Michigan fight song. It's just a nice gesture by a band who are clearly fans of the team.
