I don't know if there is a venue in the country where the road team gets as many "homer" calls as in the Big House, particularly those involving "holding."

I think that The Swamp might be up for a max homer calls challenge.

I think what Tater is saying is that the visiting team gets most of the calls when playing in the Big House, not UM. I don't like to speak for people.....but that is what I get from that. Your point about UF getting all the calls when at home is a very accurate one though.

some of the worst pass interference or lack of pass interference calls in the world. Since when has the penalty changed from not having seven on the line of scrimmage to having five in the backfield or is this a Big 10 thing?

Whether the ref chooses to explain it by stating that there were fewer than seven players on the LOS or that there were five the backfield is irrelevant.

all of NCAA has this rule. It makes it so if the offense only has 10 players on the field they can still get away with having their 4 "backs" while only having 6 lineman. Why penalize if they are playing a man down to begin with.

speaking of the upcoming PSU game, I have not been able to locate any TV coverage. Surely I am just missing the obvious. It is hard for me to believe that a UM-PSU game will not be televised.

It is one of those games that is either on ABC or it is mirrored on either ESPN or ESPN2 based on region. The coverage maps should be out soon.

I'm betting we get Sean McDonough and Matt Millen ( PSU alum )

See, now when we win, all the PSU fans will point to this thread while wearing their tin foil hats and start yelling I told you that they pay the refs.

it wouldn't be a problem if their team played hard for the full 60:02.

For making me laugh outloud at work. Thoughts of Penn State players holding up the one second left finger....ahhhhh.
October 20th, 2009 at 11:22 AM ^
Where there are no penalties... only things refs claim they see in order to level the playing field.
Notre Dame:
1158-0 all-time against other football teams.
832-284-42 all-time against the refs.

Penn State fans whine as much as Michigan fans? Or that Penn State gets many breaks like Michigan does? Or that Penn State fans are as paranoid as UM fans and think the whole world is out to get their team?
I confused. A fan base that whines and cries with every play and still goes to pieces ove MSU 2001, and fans of a team that gets more than its share of breaks tossing stones from its glass Big House at another fan base?
Oh this is RICH! Keep kvetching, beeyatches! It's a slow week, I need the laughs!

Why you even post on this board.
