Pioneer
What is the work being done at Pioneer's lot near the corner of Stadium and Main and will it be done before the Spring Game?? Last year I think only portions of the lot were open for parking and if we increase the attendance by 10-20K it's going to be a goat fuck.

Not sure I have ever heard that reference.

GI Jane......near the end of the movie when the Master Chief gets hit by fire in the leg.

I'd never heard it before either, but it made the point quite well. Combines two of my favorites: "goat rodeo" with "cluster fuck."
If the OP had called it a "cluster rodeo" I would have been totally lost.

in the Zoo??? Let me know so we can get you included in the tailgate thing!

I absolutely live in the Zoo. Just a short 80 minutes from Ann Arbor...if you drive 80 MPH.
Put me on the tailgate list, I'd love to be there. But this year there's about an 80% chance I will be traveling that weekend.
If not this year, then next year for sure.

It will be fine. It's not like that construction is taking away parking for 70k people.
February 26th, 2010 at 9:51 PM ^
I would think that 70k would be fighting a little for parking. I got lucky on a side street last year more than an hour before the game.

How much more? 48 hours more?

If I remember my Ufer'isms, it's "And here we are..."
I don't want to be a dick, but I'm pretty sure you need to add an "re." Great quote though. I'm too young to remember him live, but he may be the best ever.

"rastafari;" you're concern is spot on. Last year with only 50K attending parking was a mess, mainly b/c quite a bit was free or only $5 as was the case @ Pioneer. Granted I was running 15-20 minutes behind for the start of the practice, but by the time I got close enough to pull into Pioneer the lot was closed and I wasted a good 45 minutes driving around trying to find another spot. I missed 1/2 the practice due to my lack of planning. So be it 50K or 70K I'd make sure you're parked an hr before the start.

If you're willing to walk a little more, the parking structures on Central Campus should always have space available. (This is true even on fall Saturdays.)

"SNCF: Situation Normal,Cluster Fuck"as my rowing coach would say. I never quite understood it, but that parking lot looks like one.

I've never heard of SNCF, but I have heard of SNAFU.
Situation Normal; All Fucked Up

Yup, Pea-Tear, you are correct, its SNAFU.
If Urban Dictionary hasn't heard of an obscene acronym, it doesn't exist.

What, you don't track joint city/school district projects being built with federal stimulus money?

Yeah, if nothing else you're getting a +1 from me based solely on the use of "goat fuck".

they're also adding "interpretive signs explaining about the Allen Creek, which now runs as an underground drain at the site." Wouldn't want to leave the masses to interpret the Creek themselves. Otherwise, this might happen: http://www.youtube.com/watch#playnext=1&playnext_from=TL&videos=6wJjRq6…
