The same reason he was dressed for last year's bowl when he didn't play. The same reason that Hurst, Taco, Mone, and Lewis were dressed earlier this season even for games they didn't play in. You don't tip your hand.

Am I wrong? Were the aforementioned players not dressed for games they ended up sitting out? Doesn't take a master-strategist to understand that this is how Harbaugh is wired, and this is how he has approached injuries in the past.

I'm not talking tweak. I'm talking what happens when you play on a tweak, and turn a Grade 1 or 2 into a Grade 3, basically can't walk for months, and need surgery that will bump you out of any and all physical activity--and may never heal correctly.
