First off, I can't neg the OP enough for the shitty body of his OP.  Informative title, but nothing except a link is lazy.  Bambi, you've crapped on people for doing the same thing...

As for the story, the good doctor says he complained to a bunch of people about nothing in particular, and now says they fired him because of it.  No proof (that we know of); no specific accusations; no documentation; no timelines.

Yet, in spite of all that, I believe him.  With the Paterno guy back in charge, it just smells like dung.

Hope he has documentation like text messages or even recordings to back up his claims.  Or maybe a corroborating witness.  Otherwise, we know Penn State people will just deny everything.

I would say there is more to come.

HIPAA is for protecting the privacy of patients.  This is an employment law case.  Certain patient's records may come out in further case-related actions as evidence (and such records will have to be handled in compliance with the regulations) but this remains an employment law case.  Here's the tl;dr.

1.  Pedo State let Dr. Lynch go because they stated they wanted someone based out of State College and Lynch was in Hershey.  That could hurt Pedo State's defense because at contract formation time, this was not a documented concern.

2.  In the employment contract attached to the filing, there isn't anything thing mentioned about residency.

3.  Dr Lynch is filing the suit for violation of whistleblower protections.  Lynch went to Black about Franklin's interference, Black let Lynch go.

James Franklin would like to sell you some fiberglass windows except somehow he's the head coach of a major college football team.

Doc, his bones are stronger than vinyl.  Is the lady of the house home?

"At least it's not child rape," countered Franklin.

That does it, I'm getting a refund for my audio-book collection, The Penn State Guide to Ethical Football Coaching.

You know what?

Penn State should be kicked out of the Big 10.

They're welcome to take Rutgers with them and then form a new conference of their own call the Big Least.

That's not as bad as when Franklin cornered an alleged rape victim at Vandy and tried to bribe her with a job but might be worse than when he said he only hires assistants with hot wives

This Dr. Lynch is a former NCAA wrestling champion (1984) for Penn State. He is probably not bringing this lawsuit out of any unfounded animosity for Penn State. He is by all accounts a very well respected orthopedic surgeon. This does not look good for Franklin at all.
