Apologies to any A&M (Not that A&M) fans but, seriously, wtf?

Don't hate on Gunther. It's an underrated song and on a timely note, Gunther and his Sunshine Girls make a fantastic group Halloween costume.

Stanford had yell leaders when I was there. They were absolutely atrocious and an embarrassment to the school. Yell leaders don't make any sense in the 21st century, between TV timeouts and the stuff on the video board the crowd doesn't have the spare time and attention span to follow yell leaders doing what amounts to a PT cadence call.

You've clearly never been to an A&M game. They are psychotic when it comes to their yell leaders and the various chants.

don't be them.

These guys are trying so hard to act like fairies in an attempt to make people think that there is no way they can be that fairy-like, so the must be joking.
One problem: I still think they are fairies.

You guys realize that techno is always funny, right?

My faith in the butchness of the GUNZ UP! FARMERS! WHOOOP!!1! is tarnished forever. Unless they figured out that if they do that before a game, they get blown out.
BTW: Which A&M is That A&M if it's not THAT A&M?

Since, ya know, they were A&M and most people here don't care about Texas A&M I decided that MSU was A&M (that A&M) and Texas A&M was (NT A&M) :)

Well, I strongly suspect that I'm the only Aggie wandering around here, so I'll put my two cents in. Pretty embarrassing thing to post, especially given what happened on the football field a few hours later.
A couple of mitigating factors:
1. Yell Leaders almost always come from the Corps of Cadets which is a whole universe of weirdness on to itself. They pride themselves on keeping the traditions of an all-male backwoods military college alive, not really caring whether that is what the university is anymore.
2. I think this becomes less weird if you've ever made a road trip from A&M to any Big XII north school. There's a lot of nothing between here and there...
But hey, that's the Texas A&M I know and love, a world class engineering school awkwardly joined at the hip to an insular 1870's military college.

I am regularly (and good naturedly) mocked by my Aggie family members (one cousin actually played in the 12th Man program) for leaving Texas to go to school with all you "liberal Yankee fags" (not my quote, take it up with them). I cannot wait to pass along this video and get the epic "What the fuck is wrong at my school?" rant that I know this will produce. I am sure this will embarrass them infinitely more than any loss on the football field ever could.
That being said, the Fighting Texas Aggies remain my 3rd favorite team (behind the two schools I actually attended) and will always have a soft spot in my heart.
Beat the hell outta t.u.!

I was curious about the Yell Leaders so I looked up a bit of information on them...
From wikipedia:
"The Yell Leaders use a variety of hand signals, called "pass-backs," to direct and intensify the crowds. One of the most notable former Aggie Yell Leaders is Texas Governor Rick Perry.[1] As many know, Rick Perry became one of the worst governors in the history of the state of Texas and tries to have too much influence on decisions at Texas A&M, namely the decision of the schools football coach. Just like is the case as governor of the state, he has also failed miserably in this endeavor."
Oh, you wikipedia.
