OT: What Kind of Weather Should I Expect in AA in Early October?

Submitted by seanml11 on

I will be attending the MSU game and am wondering what kind of weather to expect in early October in AA.  I would assume that it would be in the high 70's to the low 80's but that is just a guess.  Am I close?  Does it get much cooler at night?  Sorry guys/gals but I'm from FL and it is just hot as hell 350 days out of the year.  Any help would be appreciated.  Since it is a Maize out, I will also have to buy some new clothes so it will help to know whether I need long or short sleeve shirts.  THANKS AGAIN for any help!!!

It will be exactly 62 degrees, 46% humidity, winds from the southwest at 7.3 miles per hour, slightly overcast, with a steady barometric pressure. Or not.

It's impossible to predict the weather in Michigan in the fall. It might be 90 degrees, but it might also snow. Pack shorts and a snow suit, and you'll be fine.

And my official meteorological opinion is... it could be beach weather, or it could snow.  No joke.  But seriously... I think you should plan on bringing both shorts and jeans... with perhaps a hoodie or light jacket in case it gets a little cool.  Really though, look up the weather before you go, because unless you absolutely have to pack your suitcase TODAY this is a meaningless endeavour.

P.S.  I love when weather pops up on this board.

M-MSU hockey game in December 2001 than it was for the M-MSU football game in September that year.

You can get anything in October, from beautiful 70 degree clear days, to ugly 40 overcast and rainy days to even flakes of snow.

Probably more like a high in the 60s and a low in the 50s.  But the weather here is very unpredictable (especially in the spring and fall) and you really have to check the forecast a few days in advance.

After my 2004 experience, I suggest shorts and shirt for a nice sunny day, but be ready with you're parka for triple OT.

And Paul and chunkums laughed at me for wearing long sleeves and jeans when it was 80 out...
