OT: What is everyone up tp tonight?
I am just watching some movies. Just finished Midway. Man those guys were badass. Great movie. Now I am watching Kill the Messenger. Pretty good so far. Can't wait for warmer weather. Maybe I will hit the lottery so I can move to Arizona. I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

First season is fantastic. Second season is good, but not as good as the first season. I didn’t find the villain quite as enthralling or developed.
Still, a great show overall.

Liked Broadchurch a lot. I’ve enjoyed every British crime drama I’ve found on Netflix and Prime. Great character development.

Broadchurch is good, at least the first season. The second season is so so. Longmire is a really good show also.

just finished barn chores with the youngest. lit the BBQ and put chicken on it. strong possibility i have a coffee cup with a dash of red pop in it. will probably cut two of the sons' hair. they both played some very good hoops today, is neat to see them play together and excel, even at this relatively young age.

we have loads of them so we are kind of spoiled in that regard. we 'harvest' our chickens in the summer and eat them as the year goes on.
a fun (for some, i hope) egg fact: your monster, jumbo eggs in the grocery store are 70 grams each. that is probably our average size here, and tonight we picked one that is 120 grams - it looks like an ostrich egg its so big. when the weather warms we will get more of those. we can't sell those because there isn't any type of egg carton that can hold them. i think our all-time record is 130 grams.

I was not expecting to be asking about eggs when I opened up mgo--but are the monster eggs proportionally larger in both yolk and white? Mostly extra white? I could imagine a marketing opportunity here!

when they get over about 100 grams they are almost always double-yolkers and very occasionally, triple-yolkers. those yolks are in themselves more normal sized, but of course when you have two (or three) you have proportionally about the same as in the smaller eggs.

I’m three episodes into “Hunters” on Prime. It’s Jordan Peele’s new project starring Al Pacino about a group of people that hunt Nazis in 1970’s America. It’s off to a very entertaining and solid start.

Watching UMD play at Bemidji State in basketball. Second-best player got hurt yesterday, so this has been a slog, and BSU is bizarrely making every 3. Finishing up, not looking good.
