OSU seems like free money. They can basically name their score.
I haven't seen IU play at all this year but I'd be surprised if we didn't cover.
Wouldn't touch that OU-UT spread with a 10 foot pole
October 7th, 2022 at 1:44 PM ^
That OU-Texas spread is snake venom, especially with all the injury questions on both teams. Ewers is maybe coming back for Texas, OU's QB is out, there are other injuries at key positions... the ONLY thing I'm even considering in that game is the under, and that would be gambling that both teams are a shitshow that are going to get worse.

Yeah. I mean it was, what, 49-0 at halftime last year, and that was with Kenneth Walker. Only difference this year is that it's at MSU, but still, hard not to see this being a 40+ point win...
October 7th, 2022 at 1:39 PM ^
I think LSU wins outright at home.
OSU covers.
I don't see us beating -23 at IU. *ducks*
October 7th, 2022 at 2:19 PM ^
I thought that too at first but this isn't the typical Indiana.
October 7th, 2022 at 7:46 PM ^
I dont see how indiana scores points besides a few field goals. I see it like 38-9 or something. But then again im not a betting man.

For my $1 parlay bet for the week, I'm keeping it relatively simple:
Rutgers (moneyline)
Michigan (moneyline)
Taking the OVER (49.5) in Auburn/Georgia (I'm going to be real surprised if Georgia doesn't cover that by themselves)
Ohio State -26.5
That's giving me a +761 payout on those four coming in.
October 7th, 2022 at 6:04 PM ^
Does that mean you get $7.61?
October 7th, 2022 at 7:49 PM ^
Correct. Bet $100, win $761. Bet $1, win $7.61.
Last week I had $1 on a 7-team parlay that payed +9200 (I would've won $92). It came down to Arkansas +17.5 against Alabama. And of course Arkansas shit the bed and blew up my parlay. But I won the 7-team, 7 point teaser as a meager consolation prize. That netted me about $14.

Here are my placed bets for the weekend. Lots of little bets. A few parlays and teasers among them.
FRIDAY
Colorado St +3.5 vs Nevada
Rutgers +3 vs Nebraska
SATURDAY
Michigan -23 vs Indiana
Iowa +3.5 vs Illinois
LSU +3 vs Tennessee
Washington St +12.5 vs Southern Cal
BYU +3.5 vs ND
Ohio St -27 vs MSU
Utah -3.5 vs UCLA
Maryland -3 vs Purdue
Texas -9 vs Oklahoma
Kansas +7 vs TCU

Already bet Michigan and Ohio State to cover. I like that WSU number. Utah/UCLA and Tex/Okla I have no feel for those games yet.
October 7th, 2022 at 1:58 PM ^
Michigan State will at least attempt a miracle season saver. I see Ohio State winning comfortably but not covering 27.
October 7th, 2022 at 2:14 PM ^
They lost by 50 last year during their miracle year.
ohio state won't even punt until up 42-0.
October 7th, 2022 at 4:30 PM ^
Nah, that's when they break out the fake punt.
October 7th, 2022 at 7:48 PM ^
I think they just don't really care about this game and are focused on Oct 29 already. Tucker didn't get 95M for beating ohio.
October 7th, 2022 at 2:40 PM ^
I got
Michigan -23
OSU -27
TCU -6.5
October 7th, 2022 at 3:08 PM ^
I really want to take Rutgers as the home dog, but I can't get myself to bet on Rutgers.
October 7th, 2022 at 7:48 PM ^
Maybe you can get yourself to bet against nebraska lol
October 7th, 2022 at 3:49 PM ^
Not a current bet, but here's something crazy for you. Preseason, the O/U for Kansas was 2.5 wins. Tomorrow they'll be racing us to become the first bowl eligible team of the year...
October 7th, 2022 at 3:59 PM ^
Wow…I hate that betting is illegal here in SC. That OSU/MSU line is just stupid.
October 7th, 2022 at 5:39 PM ^
It's illegal in Seychelles?
October 7th, 2022 at 4:00 PM ^
I rarely bet on sports, especially now that much of my excess money is devoted to renovations at this bloody house, but I did take the over on OSU this weekend. I think it is a lot more than 27 at the end of the day.
October 7th, 2022 at 4:29 PM ^
Just watched the Money Pit for the first time in years a few weeks ago and for the first time since I've been a homeowner. Just shook my head and said "yep" in a few places.
Good luck with the renovations!
