is really really fat. He probably started eating twinkies and kit kat bars so he will suck next year. hahaha
Steroids. I can't wait for his mug shot to be my new pic on this site.
Dude was huge as a freshman. Now with a year in OSU's weight program, he still hasn't gained all that much really, 10-15 lbs.
Ten to fifteen pounds of roids. Did you see that Gholstin kid a couple years back? No way Ohio State gets their players to look like that in any legal way.
Meanwhile, Myles Brand plays a poker game and ignores all the evidence
Ever heard of a guy named Mike Martin?
Did you hear about the guy named Will Johnson who just benched 225 pounds 47 times?
If Ohio State's players are on 'roids, then Michigan's probably are, too.
the fact that terrance taylor was able to put up a ridiculous amount of reps at the pro combine would suggest that he's not on roids, they test for that there. beanie wells running in the 4.6 range at the combine then magically running a 4.38 mere weeks later at the same size at his pro day suggests something else.
Yep. It suggests that Ohio State still uses the same notoriously fast track.
and i have no idea how true this is...that track is less than 40 yards. pure speculation, it's probably not true, just puttin' it out there.

a lot of them are. but as i said, "it's probably not true". there's obviously something different about the track at ohio state though if beanie wells is running a 4.38 there when he ran a 4.6 at the NFL combine.
multi-million dollar industry and it's being run by total morons. highly likely.
Lehman Brothers.
Bear Stearns.
GM.
Chrysler.
Detroit Lions.
Any newspaper.
Oh, you said multi-million dollar industries. Sorry, these are just multi-billion dollar industries run by morons.
heh.
exactly what i'm saying
What is so unusual about 238? Threet was 235 and mallett was 250, and I would hardly classify them as enormous.
Yea, now he's not skinny. Dude is like 6'6 - 238 is not that hefty.
March 31st, 2009 at 11:09 PM ^
I agree. I'm 6'4" 240 and I am by no means huge...
the kid can stiff arm with the best. Michigan needs some tackling dummies that throw stiff arms so the D can learn how to counter act a stiffy

by this time next year TP on roids will be 300lbs and running a 2.4 40. michigan is gonna need to hold the tackle dummy off the side of a gulf cart and drive at kids with it.
ERic Lichter, OSU director of Football "Perfomance", was arrested back in the 90's for distribution of DRUGS as part of a federal sting. He was working at Gym at the time. The drugs where not roids but if you have seen how built Eric is, it's not too difficult to assume he had some chemical "help" in sculpting his body. We also have seen just how thick and ripped Vern was. If TP want roids for his bunghole, he would know exactly who to ask for help.
can't you just grab the arm the QB is throwing at you and drag him to the ground?
Sure one could. But how effective was anyone doing that to TP?
He bulldozed over everyone last year. My guess is that opposing players just weren't expecting it and couldn't adjust to over come his bitch slap.
Can we please stop using "stiffy" as shorthand for stiffarm? When I think of the "best way to counter a stiffy" I tend to think you mean Roseanne.
Grabbing someone's arm is a very ineffective way to tackle someone. For a guy his size, you need to go for the body and wrap him up. If you go to grab his arm and you miss he's gone.
True, but if you yank hard enough you can dislocate the shoulder...
I think that is what one of Big Wills legs weighs. Will be fun to see him eat Pryor up.
I can't wait to see him laugh off Stevie Brown's tackle attempt.
Sounds like he has been taking eating lessons from Justin Boren; maybe they are buddies now. It will be interesting to see if he loses that extra step that saved him from a lot of his freshman mistakes last year. If Pryor loses a couple of tenths from his fake forty time, he will suddenly become more like that 300 pound dude that used to play QB at UK than a "superstar in waiting."
If he gets too heavy, he will also be more prone to injuries, especially when the weather starts getting cold: say in November? I never actually wish injury on anyone, but it would be nice to see OSU face UM with a second-string QB.
TP, like everyone else in the entire world, wants to be just like Tim Tebow. So in addition to spending most of his time in church, lifting weights, doing highly publicized charitable work, etc... he is spending all of the rest of his available time perfecting his jump pass. I heard Musburger is putting the final edits to an hour and half CBS special that will air in August to kick off the college season. It's title (working) is "Better Than Superman's: The Pryor Jump Pass". Should be riveting...
I also hear that TP and a bunch of other QBs across the country are learning how to circumcise impoverished children in 3rd world countries. I hear TP has been spending a lot of time with the rabbi of Temple Beth Israel in C-bus. Whether for charity or otherwise, it should be a good way to get some tips.
I hope that enormous guy on Michigan sacks his ass like there's no tomorrow on November 21st. What's his name? O ya. WILLIAM CAMPBELL. There's someone enormous for ya.
uh...stevie brown tackled pryor just fine when they first met.
And Pryor actually tackled Stevie, after Stevie picked him off. It was more of a push out of bounds, but still.
This is what I was referencing.
Stevie got stiff-armed backwards, and caught pryor's neck collar on the way down to make the tackle. It wasn't pretty, but they don't give out style points during games. Coaches do afterwards though.

Understatement. It is going to suck going up against him for the next two years, at least.
he's not yet actually a good QB.
Maybe because he was a true freshman? Statistically, he was the best true freshman QB in the past several years. I will be ecstatic is Forcier is "actually not a good QB" like Pryor this season.
MGoObes has a thing against Pryor. You can probably ignore his opinions on the guy.
Brandon Graham folded him up last year. He's another year bigger/better, too.

I can't say if Pryor will ever be a great quarterback, but I know that he's always going to be a dangerous one.
I saw him in person when i went to go buy some champagne after classes like February and he was still the same size so roids or jacket and ugly girl he brought in who was over 21
