OT: Tennessee Just Offered 20 Kids at IMG

In college I looked like a meat head.   Freshman year more than one person told me "you look like a rapist, you should rush fraternity X." *

If I were IMG I would sue Tennesee for defamation of character with the blanket offer.

 

*I went a long way for that joke, but I can assure you that I am not a rapist and I didn't rush a fraternity (not that there is anything wrong with that.)  I don't know what the deal was with fraternity X, but I think they were banned or burned down or something sometime in the last 20 years.

trying to take a page from Harbaugh's book and grab some media buzz and generate discussion. any distraction from their recent Manning, rape, and childhood exploitaion would be welcome for UT.

Offering everybody doesnt make you a genius or even a good coach. At least evaluate the talent first. That's the problem with the SEC they are so lazy that they dont want to work.  I bet they get none of them to commit.

This would be great at a normal HS. At IMG, the kids didn't "grow up together" and won't all have the dream of playing together.

Some people call it a Kaiser blade.

I don't know how good the coach is at IMG but it sounds like with some good coaching their team could probably beat the bottom third of college football, or at least make it a competition. Insane how much talent they have. The coaches there must be reeling in millions in extra benefits. That school was such a good business plan.
