Things not looking to good for the Volunteers this year with all the attrition of 2 coaching changes in 2 years.
Wait I know this smell. It smells like.... it smells like 3 wins.
Dooley has talked with conviction about the importance of character in his program, and this is a clear indication that he means business.
Heh. He means business.
Tennessee's season has ND '07 and Mich '08 written all over it. It's gonna get ugly in Knoxville this fall.
Lane Kiffin can be despised for many reasons, but to pin the actions of adults he no longer has contact with on his career choices is absurd.
Have we ever played Tennessee in our history, other than the Citrus Bowl a few years back?
That chart gives me hope. Schools where our win percentage is less than .500 are so few...
Gotta love our record against Florida, too.
LOL. I clicked through, all excited to see the small number of schools we're under .500 against. Instead, I was aghast at the list of schools we're .000 (0-1-0, in each case) against:
Appalachian State
Arizona State
Brigham Young
Chicago A.A.
Chicago Athletic Club
Cleveland A.A.
Tennessee
Texas
Toledo
Wesleyan
Maybe the next year or two would be a great time to add UT as a non-conference game. Michigan still "owes them" a little present.
I'd rather beat them when we're both good. Once we get on track we should be trying to schedule a primetime program that'll finish 9-3 or 10-2 even with a loss to us. That goes a lot farther in the end-of-year rankings than beating up a 3-9 UT.
Better losses than one should become East Lansing, but not all fans have the stomach for it. We've barely survived it ourselves, and few of our problems had to do with character issues.
Don't worry. He'll turn up eventually.
Its hard to belive that we have never played Clemson, that would be a great non-conference game for the future as they are around 8 or 9 wins annually. Thanks for the link MGoShoe!

Summary: Off-duty cop can only for sure identify Montori Hughes and Denarius Moore as the attackers. Hughes hired some uppity lawyer who is doing major damage control and says Hughes was attacked first. Doesn't touch base on why his client and several other reported football players had to knock the cop unconscious while laying defenseless on the ground. Other reports say Hughes was first attacker. Bar owner has received threatening messages from UT fanbase. Off-duty cop was beaten to crap and is looking for justice. Dooley has his hands full.
Also, the security camera "must've had a power surge" because it's mysteriously missing 2 days worth of footage.
