Well, this is a crappy way to kick off an otherwise nice morning.  He was an outstanding actor, and is still the best Bond.  And it isn’t even close...

RIP Sean...

Damn.

So many great characters and personas - and let's not forget perhaps the best spoof character in snl history.

An admirable personal story as well.

Will be missed.

Connor MacLeod: You look like a woman, you stupid haggis.

Ramirez: Haggis? What is haggis?

Connor MacLeod: Sheep's stomach stuffed with meat and barley

Ramirez: And what do you do with it?

Connor MacLeod: You eat it!

Ramirez: How revolting!

What a year 2020.

He was terrific as James Bond and in the Untouchable, The Name of the Rose, The Man Who Would be King, The Rock, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Robin and Marian.

He had a rough and tumble beginning but was clever enough to realize that to play Bond and other roles he had to broaden his experience.

"You expect me to talk?"

"No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die."

Nobody did it better.

Most underappreciated movies: The Molly Maguires and The Man Who Would Be King

Sir Sean had a longtime home in the Bahamas close to where our family stays. He used to go to a restaurant called Ambrosia frequently for breakfast and sit quietly in the back. People would come in and out and never recognize him. The staff weren’t big fans, apparently he was a lousy tipper. RIP Mr. Bond.
