OT: OSU QB Jack Miller transfers to Florida
Probably not a big loss. Was a Buckeye for 2 years. He played in four games this year and was 7-for-14, throwing for 101 yards. QB room getting a bit thin though?

They'll still have Stroud until he goes to the NFL, and his backup will be former 5* Sophomore Kyle McCord, followed by former 4* Freshman Devin Brown. I don't think they'll have a problem with depth, I think they had a very crowded room with 5 former 4-and-5 star prospects.

Keeping McCord and Brown happy for another season at minimum may not be so difficult.. But two seasons?
We have the same issue in all reality, an incumbent that just won the big ten title and a 5* that wants to play. Got to give JJ lots of snaps as well if he isn’t the starter…. Series next year, minimum 2 or 3 a game….. JMO.

That's both backups, right? I think Day has a philosophy to always have a QB in his class, but does mean Stroud's backup next year is a true freshman four star?
EDIT: Dammit, forgot about McCord, though he looked bad in his limited work this year.

Yeah, McCord didn't look great. If Stroud gets the flu or something, things could get interesting for them.

Don’t know why any 5 star would commit right now. Too congested and only one guy can play. Not sure why Ewers enrolled early to end up transferring
