OT - OSU Game
A few quick observations on the OSU game:
1) Either OSU's defense is pretty good, or Illinois' offense is pretty bad. Even when dominating ILL, OSU doesn't look all that impressive.
2) It almost looks like OSU has been afraid to let Pryor throw. Up until a minute ago he was 1-for-4 for 7 yards (a couple of short completions and a near pick as I write this). Their play selection is something like 30 runs and 7 passes.
3) OSU's lineman (Gibson?) is lined up offsides on EVERY play.

Tressel isn't going to take any chances while winning easily just to impress, the only thing they can do is win. Unfortunately for us all, style points against other Big Ten opponents wont count for much on the national scene until the conference gets some respect.

There was no way Tressel was going to have Pryor throw in the monsoon that was going on.

Isaiah Williams has really regressed and has not improved at all....that said, he may tear Michigan apart...but he is TERRIBLE today.

Zero passing yards in the first half was surprising to me even with the weather.

an enigma
Brother is sitting in box seats at the 50, says the game is boring. Wolf in sheeps clothing you might say.

sheep in wolves clothing, from what i've seen thus far they are not very good

That last passing TD was pretty lame. It's one thing if you just pound it in on the ground, but that was just Tressel trying to pad Pyror's stats.

I know this has been beaten to death, but I can't help but notice that Ohio Stadium plays that White Stripes song that Michigan Stadium has been playing lately too. I think we really need to refrain from playing songs that will make the opposing players feel at home.

Kurt Coleman's late hit to the QB head = definite suspension.

Yeah, that was much more dangerous than either of the other two plays that got people suspended. Looked like he started jogging before deciding, "Hey, I'ma head-bang me some QB."

Why punch that last touchdown in and run up the score? Typical O$U, I guess.
