Someone who actually wants to be in Detroit. I'll take it. I've seen the interviews of him when he was here for his workouts (I thinki he flew into Detroit twice for workouts) and he seemed to like the coachs, like the players and had a desire to be in Detroit. Bring it on. One Stan to another.

But, since I did. Stanley did shoot 37% from deep in college. So he's not exactly a non-shooter. He might not be good, but he's got a quick release. The ball looks a bit flat coming out of his hand but it's got a nice rotation on it. The Pistons just made a big deal a few days ago about hiring a professional shooting coach. Stanley might have been the guy they had in mind when they made that hire. His shot isn't broken by any means.
He hit the three at 37% last year. Dude can shoot enough now. With Johnsons ability to play defense and raw game, he can become a star.
Wow with the Hornets drafting Kamisky, Miami can draft Winslow if htey don't take take Turner. Then they don't have to pay/resign Luol Deng and free up some $$$ for Wade and Dragic

We should have picked Justise Winslow over Stanely Johnson in my opinion.
In a lot of ways they're basically the same player. A bit short for the 3, but wide and huge with long arms. Decent but not great athleticism. Both shot OK from deep in spots, but aren't really shooters. Both are primarily known for being tough, rugged, hard working defense first players. Both good in transition.

No. He has decent athleticism, but not great. Think of like, Ron Artest. He's strong as an ox, but he's not particularly fleet of foot or overly quick. He's not a leaper. He's just thoroughly solid, and his best asset is how wide, long, big, and strong he is.

The design isn't THAT terrible, but the "Buzz City" shit is corny as hell. If you want to see alternate jerseys done right, look no further than Detroit's excellent Motor City jerseys.
Because Buzz City is a fake nickname that nobody has ever used and Motor City predates the Pistons.
