Ben Simmons was taken first overall to Philadelphia. Our boy Jalen Rose is on the expert panel, and compared him to Grant Hill.
Brandon Ingram second to Lakers. No surprises yet.

Hey, you leave me out of this.
and like that, Deyonta Davis drops into the second round. I guess he just really wanted to stay in that green room. (I'll see myself out)

He was my target, too. I don't understand adding a swingman in Gbinje, especially one that has to beat out a player or two just to make the roster. He seems to be a capable shooter and scorer at 39% and 17.5 respectively, but Hillard and Bullock were already third stringers on the wing.

I'm not panicking nor complaining. I had players on my radar, Gbinije wasn't on it. It probably won't matter, because both the success rate for second round picks and our current roster situation.
But you think I shouldn't have an opinion or preference or feeling either way?

He's an ideal Stan Van Gundy PF, too. We've been trying for a few years to set up a one-in, four-out offense around Andre Drummond, similar to the Magic team that reached the finals with Dwight Howard.
Ellenson can be our Rashard Lewis or Ryan Anderson - a guy who is big enough to guard PFs on defense, but who can demand respect while playing 20-25 feet from the basket on offense, to give Drummond room to operate and Reggie Jackson room to drive and dish.
