I mean, that's a good idea. Where is the Michigan NIL store where I can purchase knick-knacks for my Michigan man room, (I'm not a jersey type of person) so I know my money is going straight to the student athletes.

Lots of knick knacks there for you...but to piggy back on your question, are there Michigan NIL jerseys for sale? M-Den has their usual array of jerseys but they are not marked as NIL merch per se. How does this work? I'm not a knick knack kind of guy.

IIRC - any MDen jersey customized with a current player name/number gives that player a portion of the proceeds in NIL.

Yup that's actually how it looks on the M-Den site, although it's not explicitly stated. Also it says that you can't customize with former players' name/numbers, which might be consistent with not exploited former players' NIL.
But then again they have a U-M Football Alumni category with Peppers and Hutch as the only options. Either the choices haven't been fully updated or there is more nuance to this than meets the eye.

The point of selling the jersey is not to give a $100 value to the purchaser. It's to have as much $$ as possible go to their NIL program.
It's like when you go to a charitable event and then complain that they served chicken. Sure, they could've served filet and halibut, but then less $$ would to to the charity.
