OT - Minnesota suspends Stoudermire
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5606346
Minnesota suspends leading receiver, player with a chance to break the league kick return total, indefinitely.
Chances for a few wins this season (or maybe any) go from zip and a hope to just plain zip.

Also, apparently Brewster hired Mark Mangino as an "consultant".
Lol?

Why is it that so many posters don't know how to use the word an properly?
September 23rd, 2010 at 3:41 PM ^
Is it because they're so much dumber than you?
September 23rd, 2010 at 3:46 PM ^
That could be the case.

probably a dietary consultant. his specialty.

Insert standard complaining about how we don't play them this year. Would be nice to swap them in for Iowa or Wisconsin...

Well take heart, after this year we'll be playing them every single year now that they are in our division!

Troy Stoudermire is not the difference between wins and losses for Minnesota, OP. He's simply the difference between starting drives at the 15 versus the 35. He's a great kickoff returner, and does little to nothing else.
September 23rd, 2010 at 1:14 PM ^
Apparently he does something else better than anyone else on the team. He leads the team with 19 yards per reception.

That's on a grand total of 6 catches, of which 4, I believe, have come in garbage time.
September 23rd, 2010 at 1:13 PM ^
Without him, Minnesota might be really bad.

dramatically improve.

No big deal. You'd have to be Tacopants to catch anything thrown by Adam "The Barn's Too Small" Weber.

Someone should check how many laptops he has.

I really hope that whatever happened gets worked out for the kids sake. Listen, the gophers were gonna suck either way so he won't change that but it is bad to see players face (unknown to us) adversity like this. Wish him the best in straightening out whatever he wronged.

So he's not allowed to play for Minnesota anymore? Lucky bastard.
