OT: Michigan to possibly get tornadoes today
I am not pleased. The Detroit fireworks are tonight and it's usually fun (work usually lets out at 2, we drink and eat, etc.)
Just an FYI they moved them up from 10:06 to 9:06PM. Set your watches accordingly.
Seriously, hope no one gets hurt. We've had a few near misses over the years and I have a cousin who, when he was about 10, was in their house when one took out their barn and 35 years later he still doesn't handle the sky turning green very well.
when it got slammed so bad the president came out and declared a state of emergency. I was in a plant working (on a Sunday!) and we were all out watching three of them at once, including the F5 that destroyed everything. When one got too close we all ran down to the tornado shelter, but nothing hit our location.
its a twister auntie em!
Over here on the west coast of the state, the storm has thus far been a dud.
That is a good thing.
and the radar says it's gone. Gentlemen, please rest your sphincters.
Portland just got hit pretty hard. Pictures are in the comment section below.
And yes, this is the first wave of the storm. The second wave (tonight) is supposed to be a lot worse. Tornado chances just went from 5% to 10% as well.

Urban Meyer's basement flooded due to the rain and a failed sump pump. I can't imagine Harbaugh being unprepared like that.

Very sever weather near the Millington area right now.
