Go Lions indeed.  Packers perfection ends today as the Lions channel 1962 and Suh brings back memories of Alex Karras as the Lions win!

26-14 just like it was 49 years ago and will be again.

I have a good feeling about the Lions chances. I will have a heart attack if the Lions beat the Packers on Thanksgiving and Michigan beats tSIO within 2 days of each other.

Such a big game. If we can pull it out today, they'll probably rest starters week 17. If they're still undefeated, they'll be fired up. Lets go Lions! We havent seen a good Thanksgiving game in too long.

I've been looking forward to this game since the schedule came out. While I'm obviously not that worried about Detroit's run game (McCarthy will likely have backup NT Howard Green on the inactive list). Cornerbacks Tramon Williams and Sam Shields will have their hands full with Burleson and Megatron.

The biggest question will be whether or not Stafford will be consistent enough to hit the Detroit wideouts (Pettigrew/Scheffler vs Peprah/Burnett/ILB will also be a matchup to watch). Look for Capers to constantly bring pressure from Desmond Bishop and Woodson(who functions like a box safety/nickel corner for those who don't regularly watch the Packers) to throw off Staffords rhythm.

The Packers offense has been operating at a historic pace. Everyone is obviously fixated on whether or not the Packer OL will be able to protect ARod better than they did in Ford Field last December, and we shall see. I do have confidence that we'll get our points, how many will depend on the performance of the line and whether or not our running game shows any sort of pulse.

but I get the impression that you can't touch the quarterback at all. If you sack the quarterback, do you get ejected?? Just give them guy a penney and put a flag football belt on him already

I don't live in Michigan anymore so I don't get to watch Lions games but I see they are still very frustrating to watch even with all the improvement. We have some ways to go to get where we need to be.

I have watched a lot of bad Lions football over the years. Now that they are finally getting respectable again, why do they want to be so hard to like?

Is it kind of weird I want him gone?  He's supposed to the veteran DL prescense who should be helping Suh and others play NFL caliber ball.  Instead he's taking personal fouls and shit at the same rate the young guys are.  If he can't settle them down, get them to dig their heels in, and play clean, axe him.

Oh well its all good, I wanted to see Woodson get another Ring...

The NFL is becoming such a terrible league. The commercial breaks are out of control and refs dominate the game.

Take away gambling and fantasy football and how big would it be?

I had no choice but to shed tears, a combination of anger and frustration. Thanks, Lions, for ruining my Thanksgiving... AGAIN.
