"What would be the feeling if someone's last words were 'Go Blue' or 'Sparty On'?"

In the latter case, I'd guess that they'd follow "Hey, y'all, watch this!"

I could easily see the exact same scenario for "Sparty on."  If the dying words were "Go Blue," though, it wouldn't be a criminal, nor would it be an execution; it would probably be an astronaut, doctor, president, or a wildly successful entrepreneur.

Landrigan's last meal consisted of steak, fried okra, french fries, strawberry ice cream and a Dr. Pepper, Marson said.
That is a fantastic last meal. Too bad his life decisions aren't as good as his food decisions.

I can't believe they were debating the safety of the injection that is intended to KILL a person. Apparently they are worried it might be painful, therefore fall under cruel and unusual punishment.  What's not cruel and unusual about the state ending somebody's life in retribution?
