OT as it gets: UFO hearings

Submitted by Morelmushrooms on July 27th, 2023 at 10:23 AM

Between Barbieheimer and Hamburgergate the fact that intelligence officials testified under oath yesterday that the government has “non human” biological remains and craft materials seems to have gone unnoticed. Anyone watch? I didn’t catch it but reading up on what was testified, it seems quite extraordinary. Take me to your leader. (And yes I’m sure the aliens can play DT).

What you're missing is the extreme difficulty of interstellar travel, given the limits of physics. So even if there are other forms of intelligent life out there, getting to Earth would be a huge challenge -- not physically impossible, but extremely difficult. Add to this that SETI and all other efforts to find intelligent life in the cosmos has come up empty. Under the circumstances, it's vanishingly unlikely that alien life forms are lurking in the shadows, occasionally getting caught by government officials, but never photographed.

This gets said a lot, but to push back a little. It may only be difficult to our reference frame. The biggest difficulty we have would be the propulsion required to reach high velocity and the timeframes involved compared to a human lifespan.

But first if you imagine a species that has very long lifetimes compared to humans. A quick google shows theres a species of clam that can live for 500 years. So imagine some alien species can live for 500 years. Then say that they could manufacture a huge ship in space that could hold a ton of propellant and had a super efficient engine that would allow for constant acceleration, you could now imagine that this species could travel on a generational ship at 0.9c for about 500 years, and because of time dilation, they could reach a radius of 1000 light years. Within a sphere of 1000 light years from earth, there are about ten million stars.

So yeah even with conventional physics, if you change the assumptions, you can see how it might be possible.

There have been lots of other famous cases from around the world: from Australia to Mexico to Belgium to Brazil and even Zimbabwe. The Rendlesham Forest incident in the UK is one of the most fascinating, although that did occur on a US military base  haha.

(the high number of sightings could be attributed to the fact that Americans are you know, kind of dumb and weird hah).

Can they really confirm suspicions most of us already believe anyway? I don't think it would be a shock to hear there's already been first contact and that the aliens left unimpressed.

Kay:

1500 years ago, everybody "knew" that the earth was the center of the universe. 500 years ago, everybody "knew" that the earth was flat. And 15 minutes ago, you "knew" that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll "know" tomorrow.

-----------

Kay:
Today there are approximately 1500 aliens living and working in Manhattan and most of them are decent enough, they're just trying to make a living.

Jay:
Cab drivers?

Kay:
Not as many as you'd think.

Great line, but you left out perhaps the most important part.

“Why the big secret? People are smart.”

A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it.”

Even if the government knew of intelligent life, they would never trust the general public to handle that knowledge. And I wouldn’t blame them for one millisecond.

Ai-yi-yi. Every generation for thousands of years. Spaceships. Apparitions. Divine messengers. Deities from Arthur to Christ fulfilling the prophecies that they will return when the time is right.

Yeah, sure, but this time it's real! We have proof!

Actually the AI Terminators will help us fight off the aliens (both known kinds).  Our victory will be short-lived as an asteroid will wipe us all out shortly after.  I believe Nostradomus, who was a time traln AI, was the one who foretold this.

When the truth finally comes out, all of you know it alls will find out that you are just as wrong about this as you were about Covid. Of course, none of you will own up to it this time either.

Meh. No doubt the universe is teeming with life. But 99.9999999999% of it is probably bacterial or fugal, the kind of microbial stuff that Earth supported for billions of years before the vertebrates came along. Science fiction--which I love!--has given us a completely unrealistic vision of the challenges of space travel. As biological entities we are tied to the environmental conditions of the planet we evolved on. That's presumably true for other organisms across the universe and includes co-dependence with lifeforms they've evolved alongside, the mix of elements, the amount of gravity, the amount of solar radiation. It could be that interstellar travel and planetary colonization are impossible for biological organisms like the bug-eyed pasty types supposedly rectally probing Kansans in flying saucers on a regular basis. Millions of people just died from a flu variant. What happens when you encounter a non-terrestrial virus? And the sad fact may be that no amount of intelligence prevents extinction given inevitable shifts in the conditions of a planetary environment.

There's your explanation for the Fermi paradox.

I like Mick West's work.

West had previously interviewed a so called government UFO whistleblower on his podcast, not the one who testified, and the guy came off as not credible.

Mick West could in my mind demonstrate that some of the US Navy footage were artifacts from the camera and the whistle blower couldn't comprehend basic science and basic artifacts from the camera even when it is was obvious.  The whistle blower would still fall back on that he knew it wasn't artifacts from the camera because he had top secret information even when it was clear that this is what it was.

Check out some of Mick West's work on his YouTube Page.

I don't know if there are or not but I have to believe there are plenty of things that are well beyond our capacity to understand them. Which is very cool and intriguing. I'm ok not knowing for sure.

It's most likely four dimensional entities who have a advanced understanding of quantum mechanics and, much like theoretical particles, can come into and out of existence within our reality.  They've been around us for some time but we can't fully perceive them in our dimension which is why the physics and propulsion of these objects don't make any sense to us and why it's very difficult to capture on camera or with other 3 dimensional measuring devices.  The government has safety rails in place with Russia and others so that we don't mistake these entities for acts of aggression between each other.  It's a very real issue.  The governments hide this information, but part of the issues is that they don't fully understand it and therefore can't disclose something they don't understand fully. It would create panic and be an existential disaster potentially.  It's not something that can easily be unwound without creating massive mistrust of government worse than it already is and even risk collapse. Some things may be better left unknown or just for a select few to hold as a burden. You might not like what you see once how the sausage is made is revealed.

Still providing zero proof. If aliens exist, we have recovered UAPs and bodies the. Real verifiable proof shouldn’t be that hard to produce. Until someone provides proof I will remain unconvinced that there are aliens that we know about and have had contact with.

Check out the Shaun Ryan podcast, he had on 3 of the whistleblowers and plans to have more. Fascinating, the military industrial complex have these technologies up and running.

I did not watch or listen to this particular hearing but have been following the slow release of information on UAP (its not UFO anymore) and extraterrestrial origin stuff. The testimony of the many Navy & Air Force pilots on the crafts they encountered is pretty hard to discount.

Now Im not really on board with the 'government is actively working with and/or holding alien beings/technology' but I feel its pretty short sighted with all the information out there these days to remain in the everything alien is a hoax camp.

Even if the government had knowledge and evidence of this stuff, they would never release it to the general public. All it would bring about is mass hysteria and an all around global shitshow. Millions would think it’s the end times, millions more would start wanting to launch nukes into space. And that’d only be the start.

Would bring about a severe, irreversible decline, if not collapse entirely, of many of the world’s organized religions. Can you say Jesus died for the aliens, too?

Nope, the only way schmucks like us are ever going to know if there’s intelligent life out there is if said aliens decide to reveal themselves. And if they do, you’d better pray they’re not hostile. If they have the means to get here, that means they are thousands, if not millions of years further evolved than us, and they would have the technological means to render our defense capabilities completely useless. We’d be lambs to the slaughter to them, if that was what they desired.

1) UFOs are real

2) This hearing is a false flag psyop the government is performing to try and normalize people to admitting they’ve had UFO sighting experiences

3) ?????

4) Profit!

As others have pointed out:  Huge controversies in the political realm?  "Look!  Aliens!"

Also, it's odd that aliens with super-advanced technology don't have terrain-avoidance radar, which we humans rolled out in about 1960.  They crash their super-tech, super-valuable vehicles all over the planet.

There are 20 million airline flights per year, with a crash every year or two.  If the aliens have a similar crash probability was we do (you'd think they'd be way better, but let's say equal), did they do 200 million UFO flights over the earth?  Are UFO's piloted by drunk teenage aliens, out for joyrides with their terrain avoidance turned off or running out of gas over a Kansas corn field?  Are they so advanced that they developed those super-sophisticated ships, but then they went through their Idiocracy transition, and now all their pilots are Beef Supreme?

And every UFO picture is blurry and low res, or is some radar anomaly, or is a bright dot 3 pixels big, etc.

I don't know.

Maybe it's true -- but the government, knowing that we are used to their psyops, propaganda, and false flags, decided this time around, what would make us not believe it is if they tell us it's real.

I might have missed it, but I don't see any explanation of why alien spaceships would have higher crash rate than our earthling airliners.

To me, this is another guy saying he saw a bunch of stuff.  Which doesn't help me because I can't tell from that if it's true or if he's making stuff up.
