OT-ish: Fitzgerald Toussaint activated by Steelers
Didn't think anything regarding a former player was OT, but on the eve of the game you never know. Glad for Fitz he's been activated, and even moreso on my Steelers. He definitely has an opportunity to make a positive impact and get some good playing time with Bell injured. Hopefully he's PoorDamnToussaint no longer!

It's funny, I lived in Pittsburgh for 3.5 years. When I got there, I was indifferent to the Steelers. By the time I left, I hated them...

I'm psyched for him. But this post is not remotely "OT." It's Fitz Toussaint!

Didn't want to intrude, ya know?

If he wouldn't have been injured so often I think he could have been right up there with some of the best Michigan rbs ever.

And since Fitz's Steelers will be meeting the Seahawks this week, here's Rawls meeting the press on the Seahawks website (article as well as video).
Great inteview, including taking about Flint, the observation that he's had three Fred Jacksons as his RB mentors, and getting a lot of use of his dimples.

Fitz would've been a great back under Harbaugh. Only Hart compared in terms of agility in confined spaces.

Hopefully the Steelers find their proper Fitz, and can move on from the Bell (cow tipper)

Have to admit, as a steelers fan i was really happy to get bell... Still hoping he doesn't keep being injury prone, because he is really talented
Fitz getting his day in the NFL... I have good thoughts!!!!!
Hoke seriously recruited with a passion and closed the best deals....... Not a great football coach, but it' is kind of amazing how many players still made it into the NFL during the "dark ages" -- players that weren't even developed propoerly. It seems like most of the players he recruited do welll when they're couched by people with more than three brain cells to rub together.
The coolest thing? Harbaugh not only can develop a turnip into any position he wants, he's an EVEN BETTER recruiter than Hoke.
Who's got it better than us?!

that they activated Touissaint (and cut the other RB they'd just signed when Bell was injured) because there were rumors the Ravens were about to steal him back from Pitt's practice squad.

For anyone wondering, career stats for Toussaint:
6 carries for 12 yards
3 catches for 27 yards
2 kickoff returns for 41 yards

Always good hearing about Wolverines in the NFL, wouldn't think that's OT at all.
Funchess had a nice catch on Thanksgiving Day, also.
