OT: How hard is it to remove a tattoo? Gotta love Zavier, but we need him to be Pure Michigan. /s

Sophomore guard Zavier Simpson literally licked his fingers when he found out he would be matched up with Michigan State guard Cassius Winston.

If he keeps playing the way he has, he could dip himself in ink for all I care...

Remarkable progression for Z.

And he's got 2 weeks to practice free throws.

Honestly, who cares? It's a really expensive and painful procedure and it's not like anyone's going to be looking at Z's armpit much anyway.

As one in the know professionally - tattoo removal is difficult. The ink is stored in macrophages in the dermis. The only sure way of removal is excision, but this is not an option for most tattoos. Lasers can work if the ink colors match the absorption spectrum, but again, this usually is an incomplete response. Check out this article about a cool immune therapy that was being developed years ago in Canada:

Far too many people have too many ratios. Far too many people without the money to waste have too many tatoos.

I believe his right arm that is normally covered up with his sleeve has Lima tattooed there. So he's just signifying where he's from. Either way glad he's with us....GO BLUE!!!

Maybe he can get it touched up at a tattoo shop (in Ohio, for free, seems like there was one that did free tattoos a while back...)

Here's the revised art:
