OT - DET OAK Game 4

This team has such a limited ability to manufacture runs.  They are swinging at so many pitches they are not getting any walks.  They don't move on the bases very well.  Cabrera has to hit a double to even make it to first.   And, they are not hitting for power now.   Everything is a random single here or there.

I'm sorry but at this point you have to risk peralta at short and bring in another bat.

This game is causing me to wanna drink and drink heavily.

Better lay down a bunt for a base hit. It's mental with this team now. If the hitter doesn't see the guy ahead of him do anything they continue the downward slide.

Wasting Verlander's best game of the season and laying a big fat 0 on the scoreboard in game 2 is probably what swung this series.

This is how I feel about the Tigers right now, especially Austin Jackson and Prince Fielder

 

I have't seen a stat comparing the 2 yet...but I would say that's the single biggest factor in being down 2-1 in this series.  Coco Puffs is on base every at bat.  Jackson back in the dugout every at bat.
