I thought he played REALLY well. Held the ball a little too long a few times but he didn't make many mistakes and their OL is AWFUL.

He was under pressure all game. His RT is Ulizio bad.

Dan Enos is a piece of shit for this. His play calling was AWFUL for most of the game. He wouldn't run the ball and kept running play action in obvious passing situations.

Sidenote. Brevin Jordan, the TE we missed out on is a BEAST. Mallory the other TE we missed out on is "meh." Jordan would start for us, Mallory would be battling with Muhammad and All.

I agree with you two. The kid did just fine for a RS freshman, especially considering the o-line was a turnstile. He nearly led them to a win over a top ten team, yet his coach is just trying to ruin his confidence.

And even if the kid wasn’t good, that’s pretty much the worst possible way to handle it. Can’t say I’d welcome him to Michigan.

What game was he watching? Because I lost track of the number of times Williams found himself with a linebacker in his face before he got a chance to breathe. Not sure how much of that you can put on Williams.

Okay, look, we of all fanbases should know that when you read a short snippet like that, it's highly probable it's taken out of context or presented without the full balance of the quote. Its unusual that a coach will come right out and  shit on his QB. You have to be smarter and look into these types of sensationalized comments...

..........

....

Oh shit. Nevermind. Yeah, he's an asshole.

What game was he watching? Did he see his offensive line give up 8 sacks? The Miami OL is young, however, his shitty 3-5 step drop scheme from under center is what sucks and what in the hell does he expect from a true freshman QB that is not surrounded by superstars that make him look great already. People think that their QB's can play like Tua and Lawrence but they forget the damn superstars that surround those guys to make plays. I am so glad that this guy is NOT in Ann Arbor. Had Williams rolled out of the pocket away from the pressure then Miami may in fact have beaten a super overrated Florida team. Stay in Miami Coach Enos!

Wow...  This is Rich Rod shit right here.  Blame the players when you put them in a horrid position with rotten protection and play calls that highlight the bad OL play.  Fuck him.  I have no respect for a college (well, any non-NFL) coach that craps on his players like that.

The truth is that he almost did play well enough for them to win, though. They almost won. Had a good chance at the end.

Of course, "play well enough for us to win" is not always the best measure of how a QB is doing. That game was like a 9th-grade scrimmage between performing arts schools.

How well did Williams play?

He did not play well enough for us to win.

Good grief.  It is simply a statement of fact not an indictment of character or ability.
