C'mon, Doug Fister.

Also, regardless of what happens, let this be the ONLY Tigers thread tonight.

out this series is over. Unfuckable believable, the Tigers stayed relatively healthy all year(with the exception of Boesch) and now the injuries strike in the playoffs.

"A member of the medical staff just touched Jim Leyland in the lower right back."

Either:

  • V-mart strained his lower back,
  • Leyland strained HIS lower back, or
  • The trainer and the skipper need to have an awkward conversation.

Nice to join you all for another Tigers ALCS game.  (Late - been remodelling all evening with game in background).

Fister looks alright so far.  We need this one.

Funny how this series has been closer score wise, but not as close game wise.

Please tell me that the rest of you are either as repulsed as I was over the color commentary aside of "Well, baseball -- a game of oblique angles -- has become a game of oblique injuries here in the ALCS," or you've just blocked it from memory.

Shame on Tim McCarver!  "They need to stretch before working out," he says.  Everyone in modern sports science agrees that static stretching prior to working out is more likely to lead to injury!

You've gotta stretch afterwards!  Exclamation!

there kelly.  walks VMart to load the bases. then you take 3 bad attempts with a weak groundout; all balls.  wouldn't want you to take a strike or two there.

with a big RBI, after a Dirks steal. Hopefully this is the start of a hot streak. The big boys are coming through a little better in this game.

Still concerned about Victor though, I doubt that he is close to 100%, and probally won't be for the rest of this series.
