The Opening - 7 on 7 teams selected
Apparently, the draft took place for The Opening 7-on-7 teams. One thing I noticed is that Richardson's team seems to have a pretty ridiculous secondary. Also its good to see that James Ross will be participating despite being banged up.

...Just stay healthy boys.
1: Team Superbad had Brionte Dunn and Jonathan Gray. Team appropriately named.
2: Team Vapor Carbon's (snicker) NFL coach is Patrick Peterson, yet he's never even participated in an NFL practice yet.
Just 2 things that caught my eye.
2. Or even received an NFL paycheck yet. Although I'm sure his agent is keeping him in diamonds and fur.
Given what's out there on Peterson's price tag just to choose a college I'm sure he made enough in Baton Rouge to keep himself in furs and diamonds until this lock out ends, no agent help needed.
I noticed he isn't on any of the rosters. Is he injured or didn't get drafted? I'm not that familiar with the 7 on 7 tournaments so may not be a big deal.
He's probably classified as a lineman. None of the DE's are on there.
Mario is on one of the teams that is made up of defensive linemen. They made an oline as well as a dline team.
Maybe I simply missed his name... With all the talk of Mario playing linebacker at the next level I'm surprised he wasn't in the 7 on 7 and went with the linemen. I know he's listed as a DE, but it has been mentioned several times that a change to linebacker would be a possibility.
Already posted. Just missed it.
I am interested to see how he performs. Really like the upside of this kid at the college level. Many times some high school players dominate because they are more physically mature then the kids they are going up against. He is giving up a ton of weight at his position but produces at a high level. When his body catches up to his motor, he could be a great one.
even in 7 on 7 tournaments. No Manball at The Opening.
