This is just a friendly, fresh reminder that OT Season closes out in about six hours, so if you have an OT thread for which you would like at least some discussion, now is the time. By about 9 PM or so, you may as well not bother. By 11:30 PM, that will effectively be the end. Tomorrow, it will likely be removed unless you can convince the mods why it should remain.

Old TV show reboot ideas?

Mine is Gilligan’s Island, but everybody but Gilligan is part of a drug-making conspiracy (Professor makes the drugs, the millionaire funds the operation, etc.) with the befuddled Gilligan being the unwitting fall guy whose name is tied to anything official used in the operation. The whole staged shipwreck is just a ploy to keep him on the “island”, which in reality is an abandoned movie studio near Long Beach, CA. It just gets worse from there.

The Plane!"....Cut to the plane landing on water while Badger jumps out carrying his mad stacks and puffing on a fat cigar. Just so everyone knows- no one will stop me from making bad threads, including this football program.

In all seriousness, at the end of the day, this is a message board. Yes, I realize it is Michigan-based; however, lots of people on here have plenty of different interests. I know the response by some will be "go to reddit about these posts." Why? This is a community that I've more or less grown up with over the years and feel comfortable having conversations about ANYTHING with, not just breaking down the QB battle.

I really think by the middle of each week after a game, we can only dissect the game so much until it becomes boring. If anything, OT threads help to keep people's sanity, so it's not all just "serious football breakdown."

I get there's an effort to not have stuff go crazy; I just never understood the strictness of not allowing various threads during football season. If 5 people respond, bounce it. If it's getting good responses, keep it.

I created a thread once when I was all excited about Harbaugh and the future of UM football. It wasn’t well received so I decided to never create another thread. Too bad because I’ve had some good ideas. Like why does restaurant food taste better than homemade? Why can’t I make a quality pizza at home…does a pizza oven actually make that much of a difference? Also I saw Don Brown on my flight to DC and I thought about sharing, but I didn’t (that one probably worked out for the best because it wasn’t Don Brown, just another mid 50s guy with an amazing mustache). - Sorry MGo the next time you’re on here and you can’t find a thread worth your time, just remember you did it to yourself.
