Only One '09 Game - help us choose
Dad's in Toronto, son's settled in Atlanta now - we leave the womenfolk at home and I pop for an AA male bonding weekend once/season. '08=Utah for RR's inaugural. '07=ND. '06=MSU. '05=OSU. Suggestions on which game to come for this coming season if you can only see one in person? I'm thinkin PSU, kid's thinkin OSU to break their string.

You have a lot of good options. There is the obvious PSU, ND or OSU. Who knows what the product will look like on the field. Do you want a sure win against Western or Eastern(nothing is these days)? A potentially evenly matched Big Ten Matchup that is a probably win(Indiana HC, Purdue)? I would aticipate Penn State being the best "classic fall football weather" and games after that would have the potential to be nasty (see Northwestern 2006 and 2008).

If it's an option, there's not really a choice.

you can't beat tailgating and post game jars of beer at Dominicks. I would choose a Sept game for those reasons alone if you could only choose one.
That being said, any day you can watch M football is a good day.

Nothing beats A2, but it's pretty cool to go to a Michigan game on the road. I was very surprised on how well, Michigans fan travel. 11/14 at Wisconsin!

I like seeing their fans cry.
I also like seeing Buckeyes cry, but that's a different story.

You would see the two leaders in all time wins, and you could get the Sangria at Dominicks. Plus, we have a chance again ND and a score to settle there.

Good weather
Despised opponent
Tradition

The beginning of Pay-backs

this year? That's always a great game to see. I also like to attend Illinois and MSU. The big games I'd rather watch from home. I'm one of those fans who take loses personally, and if there's that chance, I'd rather not be in public. However if it's the atmosphere you're looking for, pick one of the bigger draws...PSU, OSU, ND.

The atmosphere is always great, big or small opponent. The way things have been recently any win will feel great.

The three you listed (UW, UI, MSU) was our home schedule this year, so not a great suggestion for the OP.
Is it really that hard to look this up?
