Ohio State - a study in categorical contempt and deserved disdain (today's hate thread)

Submitted by kehnonymous on

Have we not had an Ohio hate thread this week?  Consider that corrected.

(Mods and community, if this is uncool or redundant, please accept my apologies while I accept my Bolivi-hate)

Resolved:  This week, we: Ohio State :: David Molk : donkeys.

Discuss.  Don't forget to show your work.

Present your cases, ladies and gentlemen.

I hate the Boren family for the craven way they waited until Bo was dead to piss on Michigan.  Mike Boren knows that Bo would chew him a new asshole had he been still alive.  That's no longer a problem for Boren because to see Bo again he'll have to make it to heaven when he dies.

Justin Boren's idea of family values is taking his SUV into a charity carwash organized by his teammates and driving off without leaving one red cent.  Enjoy the plow business, son, and may your future customers tip just as well.

I was on a business trip in Ohio a couple of years ago. While on my trip I became sick and had to get a prescription filled at the pharmacy. There was a man sporting a Buckeye shirt ahead of me in the line. I could hear him talking with the pharmacist. He asked the pharmacist for some birth control pills for his daughter. The pharmacist asked the man how old his daughter was. The man told the pharmacist that she was twelve years old. The pharmacist looked shocked and said your daughter is sexually active at the age of twelve? The man wearing the Buckeye shirt replied "not really, she kind of just lays there like her mom." Go blue!

Black Heart Gold Pants said it best during their pro combat series:

When asked if he thought he was perhaps being too hard on the Ohio State faithful, Polyblend held firm: "There may be a few relatively innocent people in the crowd -- children too young to know better, spouses who are just humoring their husbands, foreign exchange students -- but for the most part these are people who are fully aware of what they are doing. They are freely cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes." Polyblend sighed and took a drag on his Gaulois. "I mean, who does that? It's like cheering for the Luftwaffe."

No clever joke or anything, but I hope Speilman isn't calling the game Saturday. He is absolute garbage however I did enjoy hearing his absolute silence after Michigan picked off Braxton's pass to end the game. So maybe it's a blessing in disguise. Go Blue Beat Ohio.

In Ohio Tressel is a tragic hero.  Everywhere else he's a known cheater and example of the worst of college athletics.  In Ohio Woody Hayes is God.  Everywhere else Woody Hayes is an example of why abusing players shouldn't be tolerated anymore.

Want untainted tradition and success?

Nuff said.

My coworker is married to a Buckeye, and for our annual thanksgiving pot luck lunch, she brought peanut butter buckeys. Initially, my instincts told me hell no, do not eat a damn buckeye, but as it is just harmless, delicious, peanut butter and chocolate, I thought it might be good luck to devour the symbol of our enemy before Saturdays game. What say you, mighty mgoblog, do I eat one or do I throw it directly in the trash can?

...Urban Meyer is driven crazy by the fact that his initials are UM?

Unfortunately that is not original, though I'll gladly pass it on to MGoBlog faithful...I can trace it back to a friend who works at Michigan who is good friends with Brian Griese.

Wait I thought every thread was a Beat Ohio thread...or an expansion thread. No label is necessary. Every thread will turn into a Beat Ohio thread at some point this week. BEAT OHIO!
