Anyone else besides me looking forward to Illinois completely dominating State this afternoon? Tuck has no chance in this game. He's going to lose by double digits, AGAIN!

My 87 y.o. dad, a 1955 Michigan alum, always says "nothing good happens when the farmers win" ('farmers' refers to MSU). Thankfully we won't have to worry about that today--b/c Illinois is going to beat them soundly. Plus the fact that the MSU community writ large is in denial about how broken their program is...meaning that they have many more beatdowns to come in the future.

It was unreal how much I saw about "Michigan St is pursuing Dante Moore" on twitter this week. That is denial! It's surreal to me for anyone to think Dante Moore wold flip to that mess at State. State trying to medicate itself with that idea.

Minor gripe: I really don't like it when we play at night. Don't the networks realize that my entire day is predicated on and wrapped around the Michigan game? And that my patience runs thin? And and that my bedtime is around 8:30pm and we're switching off daylight savings which means I'll be up at 3:30am for no good reason anyway? First place (in the B1G) problems, I know, cry me a river!

Michigan St has lost a lot of players by suspension. They were a bad team to begin with. Worse now. They are going to get crushed today. It's at Illinois. Illinois is flying high right now. They are favored by 16. They will likely win by more than that.

This is how Illinois is feeling now:

BTW, did anyone besides me see this bizarre video about the Michigan St suspensions? I suppose it was already posted here this past week. You can't, I mean really can't, make these things up.

Ohio St can definitely be ran on. I like how Northwestern is keeping them honest with some pass plays and quarterback keepers in there. This seeing quarter will be interesting going against the wind and seeing how their defense stacks up against the Ohio St pass offense
