If Maryland botched one kick return why are we kicking it out of the endzone and not making them field it?

After the opening kickoff, I’m really confused why Moody isn’t aiming for the goal line and trying to induce another drop.

Run defense has to wake up

Maybe Jake felt challenged by that MD 52-ydr?

And dare I say, MD's offense looks like it has a pulse - which is something I really didn't expect.  Huh...

The intermediate throws are there all day. Don’t need to over complicate this against them. 
 

Side note: I know JJ wants to make the throws instead of taking off but that was a case of taking an unnecessary hit because he stayed in the pocket. There was a sack he took last week where he prob could’ve used his legs and gotten a few yards. 

Picking apart our defense with ease. Not good.

That throw worked because the offensive lineman was blocking 10 yards down field. 

This is a bit frustrating to watch. 

It’s almost like playing cream puffs hasn’t prepared Michigan for a half-decent team.

If the Maryland RB waits for his blockers that would have been a huge gain.
