No media access to Don Brown this week per Angelique

If you ever wonder why some in the local media go after Harbaugh & the program, maybe it has something to do with the way they're treated.

I don't know about you but if you're making SEVEN FIGURES you should have to answer questions for several minutes about the colossal letdown that you have been for going on 3 years now.

19 points through 3 quarters with 6 of them coming off a gift on the fumble kick off where Michigan didn’t have to go very far.

The 39 points last year used as an example of the great Jim Harbaugh offense comes from people who have no idea how to analyze a game.

Agreed. Face the music, dude. It goes with the territory, especially at a PUBLIC university.

Then again, whenever reporters ask tough questions in happier times, everyone shits on them for simply doing their jobs.

Yes, it is a knee jerk reaction.   OSU's best game and best game plan was against Michigan.  No one beats Urban when things click.  Bowl game is explained by 7 defensive starters gone just after half time.

Which coach does better?  Please let us know when you think they will want to come to the University of Michigan.

Which team has stats that are not inflated by playing cupcakes?

Seems like your fetching for self-gratification than anything.

We all know having Glasgow on the Dline was one of the stupidest things we've seen from a DC since GERG was rubbing his players with a stuffed beaver.

I prefer the coaches going back to the drawing board and working on their mistakes than making sure the JPC's of the worlds feels are made better.

although i think it's bullshit -- especially after don brown's brilliant presser post-army in which he football jargoned his way into convincing the media we're not a disaster-- i tend to agree with the above take. dude has nothing to say that will make me feel like there's actual accountability. i just want to stop watching embarrassing plays and huge mental mistakes on basic technique stuff.

Don is such a gigantic fucking pussy. I cannot believe he is hiding.  Jesus christ if that isn't just the epitome of the entire program under Jim, I don't know what is.

For two years he was the toughest, hardest, coolest dude with a pornstache. Now he's a vagina; the lemmings are rushing the other way. I have as much pity for the people standing in the middle as for the goddamned lemmings. But it's Amurrica, and you can call a guy who's more accomplished than you would be if you lived ten lifetimes a pussy on the internet and feel really good about yourself.

White-knighting makes you feel all warm and special inside I bet.

"Hey! Don Brown is more successful than you, you... (checks notes) lemming! 10x more successful than you would be if you lived 10!!!! lifetimes!! You can't call him a pussy!"

The only people more pathetic than this coaching staff are the white-knights rushing to defend them.

But hey, I have thick skin.  Why don't you try it again, only this time, use a better put down. "Lemming" is fucking stupid.

Agree.

Man up and take the heat.   Avoiding the press simply means you are avoiding the fans.   Among other things we pay your salary.

Accountability means taking responsibility for what happened and offering your plan for improvement.

Arrogance means ignoring that part of your job.

I dunno.  I'd prefer to think that Don is in his lab cooking up exotic blitz packages to help out his undermanned D-line.  That's more important than answering some pointless media questions.

Hopefully Gattis will also be too busy for reporters this week.

Dude almost took Temple's job.  As we saw with Beilein, just b/c he didn't take it doesn't mean he's staying here forever.  He's gone this offseason mark my words.

5 years and no big wins.  3 blow out losses in our last 5 games.  Should have lost to army.

An offense with NFL receivers and a veteran offensive line that looks lost.

If some magic happens and the team can come together to finish the year strong then I'll happily admit I was wrong...  but everything seems to be leading towards disaster right now.

5 years is plenty...

Related to this somewhat, why doesn't Harbaugh do halftime interviews on the field when every other coach in college and professional sports answers questions at halftime? The media goes hard at Harbaugh, but he's done nothing to make friends. Up until the OSU game last year and the Wisconsin game this past Saturday, the media narrative of "hot seat" and not getting the job done was overblown and a reaction to him being a dick IMO. Now all criticism is rightfully deserved.
