I would love for Nik to get another chance in the NBA, but I also will admit I'm not entirely sad if he turns into the Crash Davis of the G-league.
2nd take-- I just watched the video highlight on ESPN. Good God after about the 9min mark of the 2nd quarter, he knew he was on and it was career highlight night. Some of the shots he was making in the 4th quarter were absolute NBA Jam YOU'RE ON FIRE off balance floaters and messing with fools.
This is gold… Grand Rapids Gold, that is!

The last few weeks it's been Isiah Thomas going off for the GR Gold. Thomas just got a 10-day contract, could Stauskas be the next one to get a foot back in the door of the NBA?
Maybe Nik can get his confidence back and go on a Linsanity type of run in the NBA. He's always had talent but his early NBA experience seemed to crush his confidence.
He needs to find a team that is short on scoring and just tells him to fire away when he gets in there.
Just watched the video--he was hitting fade-away contested 3's. Completely un-guardable stuff.
This was the Stauskas I expected to see in the NBA. I hope he gets another shot.
He reminds me of Rex Chapman. What a game!
