New in-state offer: 2024 DE Brandon Davis-Swain
West Bloomfield (MI) West Bloomfield class of 2024 athlete Brandon Davis-Swain is reporting an offer from Michigan. He's listed as a 6'3", 215 lb. wide receiver/defensive end on West Bloomfield's roster.
I don't have much more information, because I can't find any Hudl highlights, a recruiting profile, etc.
Michigan has also offered 2021 RB Donovan Edwards, 2022 S Dillon Tatum, and others from West Bloomfield. There's also the looming thought that perhaps Michigan should offer teammate 2021 CB Maxwell Hairston since the Wolverines need corners, but they're still pursuing Ceyair Wright from California and Omarion Cooper (FSU commit) from Florida.

It is terrifying to think that Michigan is recruiting people who won't set foot on campus until two years after I graduate. And they all still look older than me.

2024 means I will be 45 and retired. Tell me about it

Damn whippersnappers.
Get off my lawn.
I'm old and I like it.
Insert other random old person non-sequitur.
Profit.

Think how you'll feel when they're nine years younger than your youngest like me.
Think I'll continue to desperately hang on to my immaturity as it's all I have left!

These kids weren't even born when I graduated.

Is he not doing Opponent Watches this year?
October 18th, 2020 at 10:10 PM ^
BiSB announced his "retirement" from Opponent Watch last year. Haven't heard if it is coming back... but we are less than a week from kickoff now and still nothing.

Oh good, only 3 more years of high school
215 doesn't look quite as good on my frame as his, it took me alot more years to hit 215.

Always good to make a case for in state guys. Even though we recruit nationally (and internationally), the university has an obligation to the community as well (more than private schools such as ND and USC).

In 2024, I'll be 27.

Scary I know.
October 18th, 2020 at 6:29 PM ^
27...or 17?

27 is the apex of your prime. Enjoy it. Warren Buffet told a group of 20 something’s he’d give every dime to have their youth.

He called it "Michigan university" in his twitter post. He'll have 4 years to get that fixed, hopefully he figures it out and joins the good guys!
Hoping this is a sign of a pipeline to West Bloomfield. Picked up Makari Page and Cornell Wheeler in 2020, I think we're in on Amir Herring (2023 OT) as well as the guys you mentioned? Would go a long way to improving how people feel about in-state recruiting, especially if Belleville is off the table for the time being.

Don’t like the Michigan University either cuz it sounds too much like Sparty.

How big is he going to be in 3 years if he's 6'3" 215 right now?
October 18th, 2020 at 9:09 PM ^
My thoughts too. Do we start recruiting him now as a LT?
October 18th, 2020 at 8:55 PM ^
You are all kinda young. I’ll be 90 in in 2024, if I make it.

Gotta love the hyphenated last names-DPJ, Jason Pierre-Paul etc.

6'3", 215 class of 2024 makes him
