New in-state offer: 2024 DE Brandon Davis-Swain

West Bloomfield (MI) West Bloomfield class of 2024 athlete Brandon Davis-Swain is reporting an offer from Michigan. He's listed as a 6'3", 215 lb. wide receiver/defensive end on West Bloomfield's roster.

I don't have much more information, because I can't find any Hudl highlights, a recruiting profile, etc.

Michigan has also offered 2021 RB Donovan Edwards, 2022 S Dillon Tatum, and others from West Bloomfield. There's also the looming thought that perhaps Michigan should offer teammate 2021 CB Maxwell Hairston since the Wolverines need corners, but they're still pursuing Ceyair Wright from California and Omarion Cooper (FSU commit) from Florida.

It is terrifying to think that Michigan is recruiting people who won't set foot on campus until two years after I graduate. And they all still look older than me.

Always good to make a case for in state guys.  Even though we recruit nationally (and internationally), the university has an obligation to the community as well (more than private schools such as ND and USC).

He called it "Michigan university" in his twitter post. He'll have 4 years to get that fixed, hopefully he figures it out and joins the good guys!

Hoping this is a sign of a pipeline to West Bloomfield. Picked up Makari Page and Cornell Wheeler in 2020, I think we're in on Amir Herring (2023 OT) as well as the guys you mentioned? Would go a long way to improving how people feel about in-state recruiting, especially if Belleville is off the table for the time being.
