Spring Game: How far out will the border off the construction area? I mean, say we get 90,000 to show up. Will there be enough seating?

if we get 90k to the spring game after going 8-16 the last two seasons i would be shocked. i like your positive thinking but we need to win some games before we worry about 90k coming to the spring game.

Anybody know what they're planning on putting in where the old press box was? I assumed replacing it with seats but maybe I'm incorrect?

How did that power shovel get in there and how is it going to be removed? Or are we going to bury another one in the stadium?

the same way they got it in: through the large space between the concrete floor and the bottom of the suites. But I'm referring to the backhoe, I don't see a power shovel.

They should be putting them in soon. My dad was really excited to tell me last time I was home that he had personally participated in making the blue powder coating for them at work. That was a while ago now, so I'm sure they've got to be close to putting them in.

Whats up with the old scoreboards? The stadium needs some high tech HD new school Jerry world type scoreboards. They can put them right where the old ones are. And if they are big enough, they might help hold the sound in.

I was against the luxury boxes in the first place but what's done is done, and now I kind of feel like it is going to look incomplete until they bite the bullet and fully encircle the bowl. Since they haven't even finished this construction, why don't we start guessing when the next one begins? 2025?
Also, how sweet would it look if they put a "green roof" on the boxes including blue & maize-ish flowers? That would be unique.

THey won't encircle it. The plan is, at some point, to extend the bleachers back until they pull even with the back of the sky boxes.
