Hi all,

I'm relatively new to mgoblog. I have created a Harbaugh GIF unseen by the mgoblog community. I was wondering how I can go about making this my avatar/signature as this is a gif that is saved on my computer.

Assistance would be appreciated so I can share my Enthusiasm Unknown To Mankind.

I see the David Boston getting pushing in the air play my heart grows a little with love and enjoyment. I also love the knee to the back of the helmet after he lands.

To me, it's that swag that Woodson displays after that hit and really, throughout that game that is what will push the Harbaugh movement over the top. Winning begets that swag, but so does the mindset of the players and their coach. I can't wait to see some attitude on the field  this year!

trolling in a dark alleyway, where he meets Wolverine Historian, holding open a trench coat.

"I've got a nice sample of Charles Woodson Highlights, an Anthony Carter tribute, and Braylonfest. 600 a pop, 2,000 for the full set."

"I don't have that kind of cash."

"I can get you a John Navarre vs. Minnesota tape for $150"

"Still too rich for my blood, mate."

"I can get you a Nick Sheridan highlight tape for whatever you pick up off the ground and hand to me."

"Sold."

Finally an appropriate feeling hype video that's not the "Sometimes when you're on" style sad/happy structure. Not that that's not a great video, but glad we're at a place where we can just show unrequited excitement in the hype videos.

I'm ready.  Fast forward to September.  One thing I want to see more of (after seeing that video) is Peppers with the ball in his hands.  He's sick in space.

I'm expecting the same.  He played 92 snaps against Minnesota and didn't look at all tired.  I also think that he gets more offensive snaps if he and the defense are shutting offenses down quickly, which is a real possiblity.

Honestly, do they really need him on defense all the time or if it isn't against a fast spread team that can mix in the run with pass? If UM is up a touchdown or two I flip him to the offensive side and build the lead running the ball down their throats. Power runs right at the chumps and mix in a little Pep and Jehu on the edges! That defense can hold their own without him and it's only to their benefit to do that.

It was interesting to see both the Howard and Woodson returns interlaced like that, right up to the point where they scored their respective TDs. As someone who was lucky enough to be at both games, the latter one as a student, those moments will never, ever get hold. That goes for the one-handed grab against MSU in 1997 too - a thing of beauty indeed.

But it's the best one I've ever seen.   Cavs fans will appreciate it more than anyone else but check it out (and bonus points if you can name the movie and the actor doing the narration at the beginning)

Lots of great footage.

It bugs me when I see a bunch of old footage, though. Yes it's historic and has a place in Michigan football history, but I'm more of a "this is the new era" kind of guy. Nothing about the video really told me that it was a 2016 hype video other than the newer clips mixed in with the old.

Think the editing was decent, but missed a couple opportunities to mesh with the music.

I could get past the weird music.  But there was too much historical stuff in there for me.

To me, a pump up video should be like 75% or more the "new era" (ie recent years, or for us, Harbaugh years).  This video felt like it was 80% old clips.

Don't get me wrong, I get tired of watching 10 hype clips each summer using the SAME video clips.  But, the parts that get me pumped up is the optimism of what current players did last year and how it will translate this year.  Bo is awesome, but seeing him in a few clips doesn't really get me pumped up.  Seeing Jabrill field PBUs over his shoulder do.

Well said. Obviously it's a preference thing, but I agree about the classic footage. I think that takes away from the "get ready for next year" aspect of it. If it's focusing on 2016, it should focus on those guys who will be there in 2016. Some people enjoy the old stuff, though.

And there really is a lack of good Michigan footage out there. Hard to stay original and not repeat clips. Simply not possible, especially with how many people put out Michigan videos.

Thanks for posting. Sure wish we could clone Jabrill so we'd have one each for offense and defense full-time. Maybe clone him twice so we'd have a spare should one get a boo-boo.

The video quality was good, however I think as a whole, it was not my personal favorite. The one that really gives me goosebumps was the one last year that should Harbaughs introduction and end with "Who can possibly have it better than us".. That one was incredible.

That was a sick video. For some reason watching it made me think about the swagger the program has gained under Harbaugh. I can see it now, teams 11-0 heading into Columbus with Harbaugh at the helm. His belief and determination to win rubs off on the team. Once you believe, anything is possible. Playoffs here we come. Harbaugh is going to will it into this team, you watch.
