Living here then and now. Was a difficult few weeks following that. For quite some time, rarely did I meet a new person from down here who, upon learning I went to Michigan, didn't say something like "I will never forget that game in 2007!" I'd just respond, "Neither will I...neither will I. Sigh..."
On a brighter note, I think UM football becoming irrelevant after that has helped. It's just not that surprising in peoples' minds anymore.
OK, maybe that's not really brighter.

I am a life-long Michigan fan, Michigan grad, season ticket holder, and was in attendance at "The Horror". And still, App State probably doesn't even crack my top 25 of teams I harbor animosity toward.
