Yeah this was a conversation topic on the podcast this morning.  If he's not at least in line with Schoonmaker at this point then it says a lot more about him than anything the coaching staff is doing wrong.  He may have been overrated/over-hyped coming out of high school.

That’s a bad take at TE, where Michigan’s players have excelled. Gentry, McKeon, Butt, and the early returns on All and Schoonmaker are strong.
Make this argument at QB and WR and I’m on board. But the WRs often look great—we just aren’t throwing to them.
QB is a total mystery.
To me, it’s not development, it’s a usage issue. Even last year’s disjointed passing attack just needed a few more reps every game to start getting our talented group the chance to make an impact.
Here’s hoping Gattis gets it fixed.

As he should

LOL i get neg'd for saying this. He should move on All and Luke S are ahead of him. No reason to stay.

I don't read it that way at all. Who is spitting on whom?

He said he's down the depth chart. He should move on. What's not said but is presumed is that he (Mustapha) is moving on because he wants to play football.

If all he's looking for is a world-class education then, by all means, my dude, stay! We're happy for you to earn that diploma. If you've got other goals though and you aren't achieving them here, then do what you must.

No hard feelings.

Unfortunate to see, but he was a non factor anyway. We need more speed on offense anyway, more WR and less TE.

no  it isn't. There are 85 scholarships, plenty of room at the Inn. When you commit the time, resources and energy of recruiting then training a player, the worst thing that can happen is to get an absolute zero return for the dim hope that the next guy will be better. It's an absolute revolving door.  Hell, we haven't had a TE who can block since Asiasi left.

This is like the poster who wants Shea removed citing a weak arm (relative and debatable) and him being a poor leader. How would we know even the slightest bit of information that would indicate MM is or is not a good teammate? He doesn't play or get talked about unless asked about.
