Moderator Action Sticky
Brian has requested that instead of deleting each individual comment in the Moderator Action Sticky, that we instead just create a new thread. It takes hours of less time, preserves the comments for future explanations, and just clears things up faster.
You'll notice that the previous thread is now locked, and will slowly fade back into darkness. For the time being, the link from the Useful Stuff menu will point to the wrong location. We're working on a fix for that.
This thread is an ad-hoc way of tracking what threads and comments get removed. Mods that remove a thread should post the title here with a brief reason as to why the thread is gone.
NOTE: if you leave an irrelevant comment in this thread it will be deleted.

I don't know which mod deleted the first silly thread about some company or other buying this site, but I know why it was deleted, as well as this one.

If attending the university was a prerequisite for being a "real" fan, college football would be quiddich. Saying "Ha ha you didn't buy your shirt on State Street" is really just saying "I'm an asshole" no matter no the school. That certain fanbases do this more often than others is just a sad reflection on that fanbase. Let's not embarrass ours.

Thread speculated about Purdue having to sit Marve. Content was on the border of acceptable I thought, and I missed any thread title changes, but once the title became the above that tripped a wire. [UPDATE: apparently title said 'Purdont' and user was docked 200 pts for it.]
Whomever he was calling "douchy" [sic] can decide if further action's warranted for reacting to the title change. Longtime user I've never had a problem with.
