Luke Falk 3rd string QB now in for the Jets. Offense actually looks better
September 16th, 2019 at 9:42 PM ^
Plus he's got a kick ass first name.
September 16th, 2019 at 10:19 PM ^
And last name.

This is one hell of a MNF matchup. I guess the NFL doesn’t care if anyone watches MNF.
September 16th, 2019 at 9:26 PM ^
Yo Pitt, Baker Mayfield is in commercials, he's markerable and ....New York! New York?
September 16th, 2019 at 10:11 PM ^
Markerable?
Are they using Sharpies™ or some cheap imitation?
September 17th, 2019 at 8:33 AM ^
O sorry, Baker is remarkerable :)
September 16th, 2019 at 9:28 PM ^
Oddly enough I’ll bet the ratings are huge for this crappy game. New York market plus browns fans/ hype. I live in Ohio and I have neighbors letting their kids miss school to stay up tonight and watch tonight. Long suffering fans on both sides.
September 16th, 2019 at 9:55 PM ^
I have neither affliction, but I'm interested in a reality TV sort of way. And if bet there are more like me.
September 16th, 2019 at 11:34 PM ^
I like the Jets' uniforms.
September 16th, 2019 at 9:21 PM ^
And now the Jets line is blocking...after they got Siemian crushed.
September 16th, 2019 at 9:21 PM ^
Sigh. Beat me by 2 minutes.
September 16th, 2019 at 9:23 PM ^
And back to sucking by the Jets
September 16th, 2019 at 9:23 PM ^
Thought for sure that ankle was broken.
September 16th, 2019 at 9:24 PM ^
And then he walked off the field and up the tunnel on his own. It really looked like a dislocation with fracture. Guess not.
September 16th, 2019 at 9:27 PM ^
Yeah I was shocked to see him walking on his own. Ankles aren’t supposed to bend the way his did.
September 16th, 2019 at 9:27 PM ^
Could see the landing with full weight thing, more than the one yesterday
EDIT: Still very unclear for defenses to interpret rule and what they can do
September 16th, 2019 at 9:38 PM ^
September 16th, 2019 at 9:42 PM ^
The Broncos agree with you.
September 16th, 2019 at 9:55 PM ^
The owners want to protect their investments, hence all the rules over the years to protect the QB. It's a business decision, I get it. But let's stop the pretense, put a distinct colored jersey on the QB with "DO NOT TOUCH" emblazoned on it front and back.
September 16th, 2019 at 11:37 PM ^
I wonder if making QBs subject to only two-hand touch would really hurt the game all that much.
September 16th, 2019 at 9:47 PM ^
Son not happy, something to do with fantasy team and Baker Mayfield.
September 16th, 2019 at 10:01 PM ^
The most telling sign of the almost unwatchability of this game is that the Jets have 4 completions and not one of them has gone past the line of scrimmage. Trevor Siemian has been with the Jets during the entire offseason and the most they trust him is to do is throw screens and quick hitters. That is a direct reflection of the horrible coaching, and bad talent acquisition by the GM.
Then, McFarland said that the GM said that Falk lacks good arm strength, but he knows the offense. WTF? And Cleveland is no better at coaching. They are so undisciplined that they've followed up their 18 penalties last week with another 5 in the first half this week.
September 17th, 2019 at 9:20 AM ^
they need to run deeper routes.
September 16th, 2019 at 10:15 PM ^
WTF cares ...
September 16th, 2019 at 10:27 PM ^
third and 2 with the best back in the league and you pass twice, lol
September 16th, 2019 at 10:29 PM ^
I am really being hit hard. Not by this game. Huge Cars fan, adjusting to loss of Ric Ocasek. Somehow over the last 24 hours it's affecting me more
September 16th, 2019 at 11:25 PM ^
Leveon Bell is sure panning out to be a great signing. Good thing he isn't a systematic running back. God made talent.
September 16th, 2019 at 11:27 PM ^
Not trying to denigrate either team, especially as a lions fan, but how is this a Monday night football marquee matchup?
September 16th, 2019 at 11:39 PM ^
Before the season, you're thinking "Mayfield/Darnold, breakout year two" and how easy that would be to promote. The reality - the Jets need to do everything possible to prevent Darnold from causing a breakout of his own. And the Browns - if it weren't for the massive futility of pretty much the entire salary cap era, that's a team people want to see right now. I don't think it was a bad choice; just turned out to be a dud.
September 17th, 2019 at 9:21 AM ^
the lions and dophins had prior commitments.
September 17th, 2019 at 11:49 PM ^
Maybe because it is MNF’s 50th year and this is a match up of the two teams who played in MNF’s first game.
