Mike Hart on DR...

Quotes from Hart:
"If you want to play quarterback at the next level you need to show people that you can drop back"
"Do I think he has the talent (to play in the NFL)? Yes, I think he has the arm strength. Can he put everything together to show (he can play in the NFL)? I think that's what's going to make this year so exciting. He'll be able to show how dynamic of a quarterback he is — that he can drop back and thrown those in-routes and throw those patterns."
"I think everyone is most interested in seeing Denard and what they're going to do with him and how they're going to use his talents. He's such a great player you have to allow him to touch the ball so many times and just run with it because he's so dynamic."
Not really anything groundbreaking here.

Can he totally rub Little Brother's face around in his armpit?
See everyone, Hart is already making coach-esque analysis and statements regarding players.
Mike Hart - UM Head Coach 2022-2042: 20-0 record against Michigan State (24-0 counting his time as a player)
I could easily see him becoming our RB coach in a few years, and I would be more than happy with that.
I understand Coach Jackson agrees, saying "He's like me but with more hyperbole."
For some reason, these never get old.
Coach Jackson agrees, saying "He's like me but with the greatest capacity for hyperbole in history, and possibly in the whole solar system?"
Nay, universe.
Goose bumps.
I want either Tyrone Wheatley or Mike Hart. I love them both, but Wheatley already has some experience since he is RB coach for Syracuse.
Hart is going to have to cut his teeth just like Wheatley did. Wheat started as a grad assistant at somewhere called Northern Ohio then coach his old high school team for a year, then a year at EMU and now in second year at Syracuse. Hart isn't going to jump right into a high profile position coach job. He'll have to work his way up.
I'd much rather see Wheatley on the coaching staff than Hart since he actually beat Ohio State and won the Rose Bowl.
For seriously?
-321 MGoPoints + disrespecting Mike Hart = Sparty Troll
Wheatley should get a look for the position as well if it opens up in the next 2-3 years, but I think he's coaching career may move him past this level of responsibility by that time.
Sort of the aniti-Gundy: Mike lost to Oklahoma all four years as a starting quarterback and still hasn't beaten them as a coach after he replaced Les Miles. Ouch.
Whenever Fred Jackson reitres, Hoke better bring in ole #20.
Hart will forever be one of my favorite Wolverines. He would bring so much intensity as a RB coach for us and I think he would be a money recruiter.
GO BLUE!
Well, I don't think Brady needs to be lectured about the importance of tradition and "Michigan Men"!
but still really cool nonetheless. I don't have enough points to start a new thread...here is the history of Michigan Football tickets.
I'm diggin the ones from the late 20s and early 30s with a badass Wolverine on them
Yes, this is a great resource.
I found this (http://ticketmuseum.com/Footballtickets/1940s/19450929.jpg), from 1945, on eBay last fall, and bought it for my grandfather for Christmas. He was a UM pharmacy student at the time, and would have attended this game, with his brothers from FIJI. Not to brag or anything, but apparently I won Christmas this year.
He will be exicting in the NFL as well. Can't wait to see him again this year.

Chris Johnson , I hope.
But it is nice when you link an article to summerize it a litte. I was clicking the link anyway, but in some cases it's nice to say where it's from (some people may not want to click a Detroit News link), what it says, etc. Just for future reference and to make it nice for some others.
Nobody's mentioned Pat White's NFL flameout? Considering that Denard is practically the same size as him (about 6'0" & 195 lbs) it would appear that Shoelace will have a very steep hill to climb to become an NFL qb.
Even if he adapts well to the more traditional offense this season, there will still be many skeptics with respect to his NFL potential as a qb. At least that bodes well for him staying for his senior season.
Very true. Height and weight alone are completely sufficient to determine whether someone will succeed as an NFL quarterback. Nothing else should be considered, obviously.
One of my favorite Wolverines ever. Just had some bad luck (against those turds down south).
I guess it's true...shit does roll down hill
