Well, I sure as hell couldn't cover him.
No one on our defense can cover those crossing patterns. . .
You must not be a member of the local Y
ikr...my ankle broke just watching this
I think we found Nick Ward's MGoAccount...
If I didn't know any better I'd say that's Mo Hurst but big!
Implying that Mo Hurst is not big? Have you not seen the belly rubs?
You're like Fred Jackson but not good at hyperbole.
Personally, I think YOUR hyperbole is dead on . . .
All I read at first was 'Mike', and for a second I thought it might be Mike Onwenu. While this is still impressive, I was really hoping to see a giant Grape of Wrath becoming the physical embodiment of tacopants.
Thanks for sharing. He's become one of my favorite players. I think he's going to have a monster season.
And why the hell not run a play for him? Do it, Gattis!
Common man you of all people should know "why the hell not".
1996 - Michigan loses to Purdue 9-3 thereby ending our shot at making the Rose Bowl that year. And I'm 100% sure you remember why:
But the most critical turnover came in the final minute of the first half with Michigan trailing 3-0, but camped at Purdue's 2.
The Wolverines put defensive tackle Will Carr, who weighs 287 pounds, in the backfield. Carr often blocks on goal-line plays, but occasionally carries the ball; a year ago he lugged it four times for 5 yards and scored on a 3-yard TD run.
Carr took a handoff from Dreisbach and rumbled into the right side of the line, where he ran into linebacker Chike Okeafor. Carr promptly dropped the ball and linebacker Chris Koeppen recovered.

Thanks for reminding me of that. Nothing worse than having the Purdue fans knock down the goal post+ carry it to the corner where Michigan fans were sitting and chanting “Overrated”
And then there was Scott McKeon fumbling the ball last year running out of the fullback spot. Too clever by half, as they say.
It would be so worth it to get this guy a receiving TD. The stadium would lose it.
Wasn't there a video of Hurst messing around at corner back or something?
Also, I think Bredeson mentioned something about all the linemen getting together for a 7 on 7 scrimmage in the offseason. I would love to watch that.
I can't even comprehend how a 300lb person can move like that, or how bad it would hurt when he hit you. If he can hold up against the run even a little this year, he's going to be a beast.
H-back
He was originally committed to Penn State. The Penn State crowd excoriated him claiming he'd sit on the bench the entire time at Michigan and that Harbaugh only recruited him to seal the deal with Gary.
Michael is proving them wrong and I still can't stand those child abuse apologists.
Paging EGJ
That's a Sparty-level self-own. "You're good enough to get recruited here, but won't play at that other school because they're much more talented than us." and "Our class has players that are only good as throw-ins for their more highly-rated friends."
I still wish they would have been thrown out of the B1G.
Agreed. If the crimes and cover up themselves weren't enough, the fan reaction blaming the victims or calling them liars took it to the point of expulsion.
Damn. Why are we putting this on tape?!
Everyone looks good going against air. Let me see him go up against my YMCA flag football team.
Seriously though, that is some impressive skill for a guy that size.
Gonna need those DT's.
It'll be huge if Jeter starts to become a dude his season.
You are right on. DT's are the key to our defensive success. Also I like Ross at LB. We will need our other LB spot to step up and play championship level.
That guy is athletic!!!! Anyone know his vertical jump! Wanna see him scoop a fumble and rumble!!
Perhaps during a beatdown of ND a la Lamarr Woodley
Who's 90? That block was all sorts of nasty.
Tim Jamison maybe?
Tim Jamison
That was a fun season
until it wasn't. Fuckin Troy Smith

You can never under estimate the importance of good hand placement! ;-)
And only a damn pincher bug would say otherwise . . .
so if you're playing the mike position and he comes over the middle looking for the ball, ah, thinking you ought to just get out of his way and let him have it.
If i was playing Mike, 100% sticking my leg out to trip him/thats as much smoke as i want.
I used to go to a chiropractor who had played linebacker at Colorado. He said Ricky Williams, the great Texas running back, was so big and fast that if you stuck your arm out to stop him, you'd finish the play with just one arm.
I watched many of Ricky William’s games live. That Colorado player is not lying. It was amazing how powerful a runner he was for someone who was also so agile.
Nicest guy in the world also. For the many people who say “I would put up with X, if I got paid that much...” you have no clue what your are talking about. He was trying to eat dinner one night with his girlfriend at a table adjacent to mine. The poor guy could barely get two bites of food in his mouth before the next person walked up and felt the need to say Hook Em or some other useless encouraging comment. He said Thank you to every single person. He didn’t get a chance to say ten words to his girlfriend throughout the whole meal. She put up with it too and they finally asked for their food to be packed up and left after an hour. No amount of money is worth putting up with that every single time you go out of your house.
Is "Loose End" a receiving position?
Moves pretty good for a big man. Would hate to have to try to tackle him. Have him return a kickoff and punish some people trying to tackle him
I don't want him chasing me.
Looks great
lmao the guys in the background clowning hard
Ladies and gents, we may have another Mo Hurst on our hands.
If he can stay healthy, watch out.
Damn. That was fast. That cut was amazing.
impressive. I hope he has a killer year
It's Sainristil/Dwumfour/Bell now?
This must be why Martin decided to transfer.
#bigspeedinspace
Now let's see Onwenu on the move.
