Michigan vs. Michigan State/Early Games Open Thread

Submitted by M-Wolverine on

As always, I direct you to the LIVEBLOG on the front page, but for those who can't log into it, can't keep up, or just like the open format, here you go. Plus it saves maybe half of the halftime threads.

And if you're like me, you kinda switch back and forth between the two depending on which Michigan seems to be playing best while you're in it.

looks great in that bumblebee thing.

Seriously Dernard is just throwing it around.

And now the D looks confused, tired, getting overrun. Biting on everything, unable to get pressure, unable to stop run or pass.

We look outcoached coming out of halftime, and badly.

4th Q here's hoping.

lol so much fo MSU's pathetic O-line they are dominating our pathetic D-line.. We need to rehash what we are doing there.. pathetic..

lol baker 142 rush yards really? he's pathetic and we have given up the same fucking play all day to him...  looks like mattison forgot to adjust this wk.

The play calling is pathetic.. taking denard out every first down, leaving him 2 downs to do something.. and he never runs when a lane opens up on a passing play.. no surprise there..  Looks pathetic

Our tackling has been absolutely awful. We are getting torched, not recognising anything.

Our O also looks utterly incapable of dealing with any sort of pressure. The lack of throwing ability is embarrassing. The only likelihood of scoring seems to be personal fouls and a broken rush for Dernard (and Gholston just got tossed).

Going into the 4th here Hoke, Al and Greg can earn some of their riches. Let's see what happens.

Dernard seems to be so slow making decisions today. Even on his drops it really looks like he has no idea what he wants to do.

This switching off with Devin fools no-one.

Can anyone seriously fathom that Gholston is still in the game? Pointing at the officials, as Dantonio is totally predictable there.

The coaches have gotten a lot of credit this season, they need to take the heat for this one.  Just an awfully coached game.  Awful.  Terrible in every way.  Not prepared, no adjustments, game plan sucked, poor playcalling.  Borges and Hoke really sucked today.

A quick strike is EXACTLY what we needed. Hopefully that lights a spark for us and our defense steps up on this next possession.

i think we need to stay with the quick throws the rest of the game. its what denard is best at when it comes to passing. we just dont have the bulls for manball right now.

calling some screen passes with the way MSU is selling out blitzing every play? Terrible playcalling by Borges today.

And why the hell is Gholston still in the game? He clearly threw a punch and the ref obviously saw it since he threw a flag, but yet he is still in the game. Unbelievable.

was that? Borges is the Goat of this game, jut fucking horrible. Run the damn ball, or better yet just sneak it.

Seriously it's  like GERG stole Borges's body, and is now making calls on offense with the incompetence we have seen today.
